i have a month old euros-6 floor stander. i had the caps of the x-overs modified with mundorf m-caps (courtesy of audioamplified).
their so good. treble/extreme highs are much refined that the original polypropylenes installed on the euros x-over. anyway, when i first bought the units, medyo may crackilng sound dun sa isang unit (extreme highs), which i ignored because i thought it was the potentiometer ng treble that needs to be cleaned/replaced on my amp which crackles pag pinipihit. after having the x-overs "mundorfED", the crackling on the other tweeter became obvious. i called up Dai Mega and spoke to john. he told me just to bring the tweeter.
about john. mabait naman yung tao eh. nagpunta ako kanina sa dai-ichi mega, he tested the dead tweeter---well usually for dai-ichi, the accept the driver unit and antay kay for ilang araw sa service / replacement. John was awesome, he replaced my dead tweeter on the spot with a new one! yahoo! kudos to John for an excellent service. kaibiganin nio nalang.
nga pala, madami sale sa kanila ngayun! meron floorstanders dun na US Audio, 2x6" na woofer and a dome tweeter, sa likod ang sensitivity is 86db. they sound jazzy to me, but those units are a steal for 5,500! tweak nalang yung x-overs! pati mga bookshelf na mukhang infinity sale 3k lang!
