Yamaha array speakers
« on: May 03, 2006 at 12:10 AM »
Good day,

Just wanted to know if someone has already tried the Yamaha array speakers that's being sold in Listening is style. It's supposed to be a single unit  with several small speakers inside and are programable such that each one can be directed to a certain area in the room and  make use of the walls to bounce the sound creating a surround effect. Not sure if I got that right. Looks interesting most especially for those who dont want too many cable connections and speakers around the room. Nice for small rooms. Price is not bad either.

Would appreciate some inputs.

Thanks.

depends on your room, it can give the sense of surround sound but until you've heard a proper 5.1 setup you might be easily awed.
