Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced a new special edition of Ronin which stars Robert De Niro, Jean Reno and Sean Bean. This two-disc release will be available to own from the 9th May, and should retail at around $24.96. The film will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with English and French Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks. Extras will include an audio commentary with director John Frankenheimer, an In The Cutting Room with Tony Gibbs featurette, a Ronin: Filming in the Fast Lane featurette, another feature entitled Through the Lens with Director of Photography Robert Fraisse, some 'Venice Interviews', a Composing the Ronin Score featurette, and an alternate ending. English, French and Spanish subtitles will also be provided. We've attached a small shot of the package artwork below:

yup, sana na nga in digipack casing, but if similar to THE PRODUCERS (de/2 discs) na maganda naman yung slip case, okay na rin...

this is a sony release pala. most likely, walang slipcase ito. midnight cowboy is a/an mgm release. they are but one company but different studios are handling the dvd releases.

bro may friend ako sa states sabi wala nga daw slipcase. i'll ask the details kung 100% sure.

Yup...I hope they release SEs of the Dollars Trilogy...in 2-Disc sets no less. Haaay! Wishful thinking!

reports are saying that this will be in regular keep case (but I'm still hopeful na digipack)...hoping na lang for a slipcase, if ever.

im planning not to get na this one because it's almost as the same as the first release. but if it'll be in digipack, it'll be very tempting for me to get a copy.
