You can try the 875 ni sir Obsi. I am just not sure if laguna ata location nya. No need to use a power amp with 875. Grabe output sa b&w 684 and monitor audio bronze br6....I think 160wpc sya at 8ohms. Clarity, power, plus the looks...built like a tank. No 3d capability but I am not yet into 3d so it's fine with me. If you are familiar with the 805 sound this is slightly better. I don't see myself buying a new avr in the next 3 years Siguro. I love this amp.

Be sure to have an exhaust fan on top. It runs really hot without one.

onkyo 875 vs. onykyo 807?
im currently using onkyo 807, is it a real upgrade if i go with the 875?  one thing i noticed was the weight, 875 is 5kg (over 10lbs.) heavier.  the thx ultra (875) vs thx select 2 (807) and the main reason why im considering the 875 is the multeq xt.  :)

hahaha... pero for that price pwede na makabili ng 809 receiver
depende sa needs ni jammy

medyo may edad na din ung receiver na 805 and 875 - risk na din
pero nga built like tank
common issue lang sa katagalan e hdmi

Good ventilation Lang. Best Yung me exhaust fan, these units will last longer than you'd think. Almost 4 years old pa Lang sila since nirelease, I could use them for the next 4 to 5 years pa siguro. My 875 is almost brand new when I got it. Pati Amoy super brand new, I don't see an upgrade in the near future brader. Hehehe

If the unit having good ventilation di daw basta basta bumibigay HDMI. :)

I've used Onkyo 506, 805 and 5009.

I can say that the previous models like the 805 really heats a lot.
But the newer models like the 5009 heats up but not as hot as the 805...
Never used my external exhaust with the 5009... ;)

my 1007 is just warm when in use. baka ang heat issues ay sa mga xx5 models lang.

508 un sis hindi 506
sa kapapalit palit mo nga gamit hindi mo na alam - pero ok lang naman magpalit ng palit basta may pambili , mahirap ung pinipilit magpalit pero walang pampalit - katulad ko huhuhuhuhu

08 series and 05 series was really hot kapag walang exhaust fan tapos hindi pa ako naka aircon haha
...havent tried 07 series

pero i admit 5009 series was not like the previous model

Nyak, 508 pala yun.
Yan kasi yung very first AVR ko eh ;D

Hindi ka naman nagpupumilit sis. Ok lang yan basta swak sa budget at hindi naaapektuhan ang pamilya.
Kaya go ka lang, hehehe...

Tama ka na for keeps yang Onkyo 805.
Tangke internals nyan!
Saka for me hindi ganun kalayo tunog nyan sa 875, halos wala ngang difference eh...
Nakarinig na din kasi ako ng 875 before.
