after irun aud -
check ko kung tama ba nilagay

lets say
Right front -7
Left front - 7
center 7.5
left surr -2
right surr 7

itest tone ko ulit un...
magbase ako sa tenga ko ...kung tama i leave it as is kapag medyo hindi ko marinig ung surr i will add .5 db to 1db

tapos punta ako sa setting ng onkyo

may option dun

AUD
OFF
Manual

pinaglaruan ko

mas ok kapag pinili ko ung manual
pero wala akong babaguhin hehe..

So parang kung nao set ng aud you will just add or minus then off the aud.

gotcha .......

Parang gagawin mo i run mo aud and then after mag finish ang aud naka set na siya pero parang mag manual ka to add change the settings na niset ng aud with your preference? Tama ba ako?

Korek Sir, so parang run audessey then copy the settings, then turn off audessey and apply settings.  Same output lang ba or may difference? I wonder of audessey does some thing on the back end that can't be done manually

Yung ginagawa kasi ni derick ganito run aud then kung ano man yung result he will den retest using test tone per speaker then pag di niya like yung output either add or less iya ng DB. Kasi pag lagay mo manual di naman niya iset sa 0 ung settings mag rremain ung settings ng aud the thing is you can add or less DB on the speaker settings.  ;D ;D

What if you copy as is without adjusting any setting, will it sound the same?

Hi guys, I'm planning to buy a onkyo receiver. 515 or 616.
Will this work with my logitech z906 speakers? pano ba ikakabit subwoofer nun sa receiver?

it will work with the satellite speakers, but without modifications on the sub you cannot use it.
i suggest you get an active sub

^ he could use the subwoofer without modification, he just needs an RCA to 3.5mm cable like this:

reciever subwoofer pre-out -> rca to 3.5mm (right channel/red plug) -> 3.5mm center/sub cable -> center/sub analog input on the z906

I'm not missing out ba?

Sale kasi for $399 which is roughly P16700 lang. Another option is TXNR616 which is $499 naman, with tax equals to almost P20900.

Which is a better deal? Thanks!

Try to get 717 or higher AVR.

for $499 (shipping from US to PH not included,) i'd go with the TX-NR709 (currently $499.77 brand new from OneCall via Amazon). it's got MultEQ XT + 7.1 pre-outs so you have to option of using external amplification if you wish to do so. it's a bit older (2011 model) but its features are still up to date. i don't recommend the 717 as it only as 2EQ

given that A7/A9 are what i would consider upper midrange speakers based on heirarchy, it makes sense that you pair them with an upper midrange receiver as well. an 809 or 818 would be great if you could stretch your budget

Aaudio forgot the model, at first ear piercing but changed the jumper cables, .nabawsan onti but still relatively bright.  Paano ba malalaman kung may topak or distorted na? Im worried baka hirap yun amp.  My previous amp was onkyo din 605 I think di naman bright

Hindi ba yan sa calibration mo?  You can manually tweak the speaker calibration.  It might help.

I understand but given the limited budget that was allowed (before I get kicked out of the house) i can't settle for anything more expensive, else i'd not bought the A1s for surround and some pretty Sanus stands.

In the near future, i might just go big on the upgrade with a better receiver and an emotive XPA-3 for the A7s and my next center - A6.

I appreciate your suggestion bro :)

Thing is, im not in PH right now :P and Amazon Canada has fewer items than the US site so..
If i bought from the amazon us, i'd be charged with alot like shipping, duties and not to mention tax.
Best choice would be to shop here in CA or Canadian sites - but that would be in the near future plan.

Guys, as of now i'm pretty happy with the 515. It powers my A7s, A1 and measly Cs10 but for now its good enough for my needs.

I wish to play it above 50 vol but I knew better than that. Living in an apartment has so much limitations here compared there in the PH.

And should I mention I got a noise complaint email the other day? :D

golden ear is on the bright sise because if of its ribbon tweeter...detailed ....old onkyos on the warm side with fuller sound...mataba ung tunog...newer onkyos are detailed..nuetral to bright...heard 5009 and golden ear and quite good to my taste

I need your expert advise mga sir.  I know that medyo on the bright side yun new Onkyo receivers, pero for some reason I encountered some films na may destortion particularly pag mga loud scenes.

So I tried using a headphone (on the receiver) and wala naman, I tried with my old receiver wala din (Onkyo old model), then I used my htib and guess what, wala din, even using just the TV speakers wala.  So I thought there's something wrong with the unit, maybe a lemon or something.  Dinala ko sa service center, but since it's been more than a month na, hindi na replace immediately, so they tested muna.  After a few days, they called me and they said that there's nothing wrong with it, everything is fine daw.

My concern now are the ff:

1. Possible ba na since medyo detailed yun bagong Onkyo nilalabas nya lahat even mga distortion?  Pero bakit wala naman distortion pag iba  ginamit (same movie file)

2. Should I request na check din yun mga internals (capacitor, transformers, etc.) ng amp?

3.  Do you have any other suggestion to isolate the problem?

Thanks for sa help

Baka may overheating components ka rin at that time.
DIY fan...

Pag naka all channels to check kung saan meron distortion sa lahat ng speakers meron so di ko sure if sa media file lang or sa avr, pero as I said sa previous post when I tried on my htib, old onkyo receiver or tv speakers lang wala naman.
