One of the biggest box office disapointments in recent memory, Warner Brother's sloppy remake Poseidon crashes on August 22nd. A single-disc edition will be available with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio, "Poseidon: A Ship  on a Soundstage" featurette and the trailer. Retail is $28.99. As two-disc special edition will be available as well, and will include among other things, the additional featurette "Poseidon: Upside Down," "Rogue Waves," and "A Shipmate's Diary". Retail for this is $34.99.

Did not like the movie, so I’ll probably pass-up on this one. Unless off course it comes out in a super nice packaging.

Same, will only buy R1 if it's nice packaging, but I will surely get cheapi-pie R3 budget dvd just to watch.

the movie is a flop alright, so sa DVD na lang babawi?  $34+ is pretty high guys dont you think?

I rather get the original Poseidon na lang...

I wouldn't watch this in the theater,
I wouldn't watch this at home.

If they include a toy Poseidon (ala gift set), I might reconsider   Then it will stay sealed, so my statement above stands.

I wanna see the original and the new one, but I will not spend P1000+ to see them, I'll just get a cheap R3 version.

The R3 2disc version should they release it would probably be around P550 I guess.  So I'll grab it.
