sinuwerte lang mga kapatid sa tubo!

kasi loose tubes yung mullard na andun at last pair pa...hinanap ko pa yung kapares.... and iba ang print, hindi mullard kaya siguro iniisnab ng mga buyers, pero kung kilala mo ang Mullard physically, a good close watch on the tube will confirm it is a Mullard.  Masaya na siyang nakakabit sa preamp ko, lovely paired with another pair of 12at7 Mullard on the monoblocks....masaya na silang magkapamilya!

There are a handful of RCA cleartops au7s.... saw philips sn7s, 5814s, ax7s.  sayang yung rca blackplate na ax7, walang ka-pair...malungkot siya! :'(

Saw several rca au7 gray plates...looks ok physically.  several GE au7s.

btw for DIYrs who need caps you may wanna check out eleshop @ronquillo parallel to raon they have red polypropylene caps value 1uf to 10uf 400volts marked ---> "audiophiler mkp kondensator". <--- google this.  caps priced @90php to around 200php. sabi  sakin doon germany daw.

re: caps- no they are not the same. the eleshop caps' predominant color is Red, lettering is gold/yellow, and there's no Mcap printed. the 1uf400v cap is slimmer but a bit longer. both lack the "made in germany" mark, rite? other than that same "audiophiler mkp kondensator" etc na. ung 10uf 400v cap diameter size parang 5peso coin ang lake

both 4.7uF and 6.8uF can also be used for tube rectified psu. much better than electrolytics!

sensia na bro. kung may pera lang ako, nabili ko na sana ang tube shopping list sa p.m. mo at naidaan ko pa sa hotel mo. no big deal, text/pm ka lang pag busy ako.

.... at naisama ko na allenbradley tube sockets kasi meron din sa spin (octal=75php) at meron din daw sila sa eleshop ng allenbradley resistors at alps potentiometer. cheapcharlie's adventure para naman di na mahirapan ang mag-di-diy para sa akin. kumbaga ako na ang namalengke ng rekado iluluto na lang ng chef...next ill b LF a chef

wow ok..12php! yung allenbradley daw na octal tube socket sa spin ay darkbrown ang kulay at my attached about a foot long wires connected to the socket. really cant id it as i have very limited knowledge of these things. may tube sockets sa eleshop, yung octal ceramic (white) is priced @200php.

hi matz, i saw sa post mo ng bada cdp specs na may gamit 6922 tube. if im not mistaken 6922=6dj8 .

just been there today, halos ubos na ang cleartops, may nanggigil yata last friday daw & got 24pcs etc...nawala (di ko nakita) na rin yung 95pcs. nos nib janphilips ecg12at7wc at no more philips5963 nos nib, nomor dumont5963, nomor hewlettpackard by sylvania5963 & sylvania5963 nos nib1969, nomor ge5751 5stars.

 natira yung nos sylvania5751 at ge5751 at konting 12au7s/5963s.(nag-iwan ako raytheon blackplate*, sawa na sa itim )

you do not replace a 5751 with a 12au7 or vice versa - magkaiba electrical characteristics niyan.  5751 for a 12ax7, puede, but not a 12ax7 for a 5751.

thanks so much for tagging me along to the ins and outs of raon.  Grabe 'tong si Oweidah...kilalang-kilala ng mga tindahan .... ang naimpressed ako, pati sa mga chinese restaurants kilala siya!  Idol kita!

grabe yung red caps audiophiler, naubos agad ang kalahati nung supot ng 2.2uf! ang ganda pala ng porma nung caps na yun sa totoong buhay!   keep me posted how it sounded on your project.  tulo-laway ako sa dami ng Allen Bradley resistors!

pati yung pagawaan ng murang amp chassis sa Soler St., nakita ko na din.. sa Tip Top Store at yung almost across na store called Chun Ying ba yun. ... for directions, just ask the ever generous Oweidah here.  Ang mura lang palang magpagawa ng kaha!  Sugod na mga katoto!

Can't forget meeting Andrew Yap... with a NOS NIB JAN 211 and GEC KT66 tubes just lying around in his house!   This man is really worth meeting... also generous in sharing with you his sources and knowledge in tube.  i love that Macintosh tube amp!  akin na lang!
