kung yung sa Ante room HT setup, medyo no choice eh, maliit kasi space

kung yung sa Bedroom, hindi nakakabit mga satellite speaker na yun

Hanef nga yung 2 subs and the Rotel digital amp. Those Betas also sound great. Yung Beta HCS satellites pa lang bilib na ako sa sound (parang floorstanders), ano pa kaya yung floorstanders ng beta!

I have to agree with Munskie. But based on what I see from the pictures. It would be hard to execute. The TV is already very near to the sofa.

I see too many cement walls, so my suggestion would be added acoustics, absorbers and diffusers, for best HT and music results. Wood slots or hanged tapestry above the sofa would help.

Nevertheless, great gears!

munskie, maraming difference sa design ... sa sound, ewan ... di naman ako audiophile e. pero sa htguide.com na rotel forum, panay ang praise nila sa 1077. kaya ako napabili e

mga difference:
-95% efficient amp design ... ibig sabihin to output 700 watts, it only pulls 740 watts from the outlet. unlike conventional amps na 40-45% efficiency (to output 700 watts, the conventional amp needs to draw around 1600 watts from the outlet)
-because of its efficiency, only 5% of the electricity is converted to heat. imagine mo na lang yung conventional ... 55% heat.
-because there's less heat and more power ... hindi kailangan ang conventional capacitors and heatsinks, therefore mas maliit and mas magaan yung unit

matzter, you're right, fixed na yung positions. hindi ko kasi naisip dati mag lagay ng HT setup diyan nung ginagawa ko yung room. kaya mali yung location ng wiring, room positioning. balak ko kasi dati nung nag renovate, gamitin yung lumang JBL HTIB ko.
hopefully, makaipon ako for room treatments.
hanep din ang bass ng beta pagkaya ng amp ... the more watts, the merrier.

yes the more POWER the BETTER uump uump uump

tama si mike, yung rotel 5x 100w ko consumes 800w

and medyo warm not so hot to touch

new generation yung digital amp, only negative i heard is not that robust compared to conventional amps

pero alam mo naman sa hobby natin laging may negative review yung bago technology esp by the ones who cant afford to upgrade

Ricky, di ko alam kung imagination ko lang, pero yung rotel ko na 150wpc x3 feeling ko mas malakas yung bass compared to this 100wpc na amp pag pinaandar yung BETA 50's.

pang testing ko kasi yung mga BASS CD's.

alam mo naman na standard discount is 15%, pero siempre dahil medyo suki na ako, binigyan ako ng better price. (which depends on how much business you do with the store) kasi nung unang bili ko sa kanila, 15% talaga bigay sakin, after a few purchases, gumanda na prices.

yung HK stereo receiver lang, yung yamaha AVR ang extra ko ngayon (rx-v640)

yung JBL php8550 less 15% per pair.

Mat,

medyo maiksi kasi sound memory ko e, mabilis ako magadjust kaya di ko alam kung may difference sa SQ compared to analog amps.
pero on the other hand, nagawa niya lahat ng gusto ko, 100wpc x 7 in a small package na hindi maiinit, as you can see, wala akong space for big analog amps. these are the reasons I got this digital amp

ganda pipe in music, lalo na kung me party...you don't have to bring out the gears especially kung sa terrace/lanai or something, you can just play ambient music...parang sa mga spa...

ang pinagsisihan ko lang yung 3 seater na laZboy ko ... sana 2 seater na lang binili ko ... ang laki pala.
sa internet ko lang kasi tinignan yung pic tapos pinarating ko na from the US.
isang 3 seater and dalawang 1 seater.

naka biamp yung left and right ko ngayon, yung center: hindi talaga ma biamp kasi 1 pair of binding post lang

and sir yung conventional amp ng rotel does not get that hot ,mas mainit pa yung harman AVR

just a thought lang yung sa akin kasi dream ko yung 2pcs 1075 for a 7.1 set-up

which i cant afford $:-\$
