you almost got it!

you just need to remove the duplicate http://img....
so it should read something like this:

[*url=http://img-www.theonering.net/images/080902-amazingttt14_sm.jpg]this link[/url*]

just remove the asterisk "*" to make this a working link

was able to edit my posting regarding the posting of flash files...kaya pala ganun eh size pala ang prolema

http://URL first number (200) is the length of the flash and the next number (300) is the width of the file.

mahirap nga lang hanapin yung link nung flash files as ßa®tmaniac said!

sungit, you can use [color = white] for this effect: can you read this? (ideal for light gray background)

or [color = silver] for this effect: how about this one? (ideal for dark gray background)

Though these aren't totally invisible, the text are still partially hidden and their color codes easier to remember since you're using actual color names.

If you still prefer the 100% invisible effect, just remember that color code is either six E's or six D's.

Hi filth!

If the DVD cover image you'll be using will come from Amazon, it usually have three varied sizes of the same DVD title:

thumbnail

regular size

and large (the one you posted).

Just pick the size you deem appropriate.

filth, when you right click and choose Copy Shortcut, what you're actually copying is not not the image itself but the hyperlink/page attributed as if you actually clicked that particular image. In your case, you copied the 'click here to enlarge' link/image so you got the big DVD cover and not the regular size you intended to display.

Here's what you should do:

cursor/mouse over the image of your choice
right click
choose Properties (located at the bottom of the pop-up menu
highlight and copy the URL
paste it...and DONE! :)

...or what you can do is just modify your post, and edit the filename of your image... since you got the image from Amazon.com, the filename of your image would be something like something-something.LZZZZZZZ.jpg. Just replace the "L" with "M" and you'd get the medium (or regular) sized image (without the "10% off logo), then save your post... if you want your image to be "thumbnail-sized", then just replace "LZZZZZZZ" with "THUMBZZZ". hope this helps...
