Its release dates jumped around all over the place during the past year, and once it finally hit theaters it was gone in a blink. At least there's always DVD. The Weinsten Co. and Genius Entertainment will release the horror flick Pulse, starring Veronica Mars' Kristen Bell, on December 5th. Available in a never-before-seen 90-min Unrated Cut, the DVD arrives with a 2.35:1 anamorphic transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track. Bonus materials will include a commentary track with the filmmakers, deleted scenes, "Creating the Fear: Making Pulse," The Visual Effects of Pulse" and "Pulse and the Paranormal" featurettes. The 87-min PG-13 theatrical version will be available in fullscreen only. Retail is $29.95 each.

Genius Products and Dimension Home Video have announced the recent horror thriller Pulse, which will be available to own in both unrated and theatrical edition discs on the 5th of December at a retail price of $29.95. The unrated disc will contain an anamorphic widescreen transfer of the film at its original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1, while the theatrical cut will be available only with a pan & scan video transfer. Extras will include an audio commentary track, three featurettes entitled 'Creating Fear-The Making of Pulse', 'The Visual Effects of Pulse', and 'Pulse and The Paranormal', and deleted scenes. We'll let you know if anything changes with either disc, but for now we've attached the artwork for the unrated version below.
