good to see you guys again at Archi, thanks to epoy & chad for the hospitality, as always setting the standard for customer service.

like the others said, "ganda ng tunog"... the AE Aegis Evo sounds very easy on the ears, its very smooth & musical... dun pa lang sa Evo1 solve na ako sir... the upgraded tweeter is more detailed than the one used in the old Aegis1, so this answers a common complaint in the old Aegis... the mids are still as magical as ever, i could not get myself to leave even though i had an appointment an hour ago... the one thing i miss the most about AE is the quality of the mids / lower mids, which makes vocals sound very warm & smooth, and makes the singer stand out from the instruments... other brands can do this well too, but i think AE has an edge in creating an illusion that the singer is there.

tsk tsk tsk. kayo ha. before mga MA fanatics ngayon AE na nman. tsk tsk tsk. speakers to consider for a separate audio setup someday. but come to think of it, im still veeeerrry satisfied with my MAs. good thing pa am not in manila so am not tempted to audition them AEs. play with fire you get burned daw eh. your wallet that is. hehehe

hehehe. ok lng yan pre, youre still better off kasi at least if u want to upgrade malapit lang ang mga stores, dito sakin i have to have it shipped here. and many times ive to make decisions without having the chance to audition. i sometimes make decisions only from what i read here. but so far am happy sa mga choices ko. lahat tumpak, hehehe. concerning the b2 and the evo1 siguro ill still prefer the b2 kasi ive to place my speakers a bit close to the wall so the b2 still fits my needs. the evo's, from what ive read in most of the reviews, sound excellent but needs space to not sound boomy.

i'm thinking the same thing, since ill be using the bookshelfs as surrounds, the B2's might be more flexible. but i'll give the evos a listen and see how it goes :>
