Xenon portable with usb/SD slots plays divx/xvid goes for 7.9K

Coby also has a model with the same specs that goes for 6.9K

Well, I own a Xenon, but what the heck about the review, all DVD players are now at par, with each other, they play all regions, displays good pq & aq with the 7" screen (at this size,what do you expect), batteries good for 2 hours only.

What's good about this is the USB and SD function, they play all divx and xvid data flawlessly, plus the fact that you don't use your optical drive motor hence run time is more than 2 hours for the battery.

It's really a good buy at 7.9K

BTW GUI is the same as that of the Xtreme DVD players, but am not sure if they use the mediatek chip.
plus the screen is still interlaced,unlike a progscan nextbase portable which costs 15K-21K.

I'm also interrested in the Coby,but have no time to evaluate it, however, one time, I saw the display and it seems to project a progscan screen.

If you want to go for the generic one, go buy the brand by the name of "Super" it can also play Divx files and also has a USB, SD slot and a TV tuner for the price of 6k or less.  I also came across with the brand named "Devant" in malls.  They say that its manufacturer is the same with Nextbase, too pricey though, costs about 9k-12k, i think .

Nextbase, 8" tablet style,  about P27K can play divx.
