Robin Hood (2010) UK Release

Stunning video quality! Great audio. The story is a different take on the Robin Hood saga. It's like a prequel to the legend. Shades of Gladiator scenes aplenty. But again, it's the PQ that's splendid. Crisp details and clarity scene after scene...

The UK Universal release carries a darker and deeper color. Look at the armor and shades of blue. However, for me, the Sapphire release has a more natural feel and closer to the film. Look at the skin tone. But I'm keeping both my copies

Having watched TDKR in IMAX on Thursday I decided to watch BB and TDK this weekend in preparation for watching TDKR again tomorrow. I calibrated my projector late last week and when I watched TDK this evening I have to say it looked even better than TDKR looked in IMAX. Contrast was superb, blacks were ink like, yet there was great shadow definition. Fast Five looked phenomenal on Friday afternoon, infinitely better than it did in the cinema. I only hope the HT in my new apartment in Amsterdam will allow me to show Blu-rays as superbly as my current HT does. I have yet to see a better picture from any of the present crop of projectors I have watched.

Guilty Of Romance 2011

The very ample boobs caught a lot of my attention but it was the dialogue and acting of the Mom that stole the movie - the Mom scenes were short but they were pretty sick.

BTW this is a Japanese psycho movie.

I Am Legend (2008) - watched this for more than 3 times already. I compared the theatrical ending and the alternate ending. I still preferred the former. It is more appropriate for the title.

Superb PQ for such a classic film! From opening scene to the last, this is Hi Def to the max. It's like watching a new version of Grease.

Medyo boring yun first half but things get interesting and tension goes high in the second half. Pwede na! Good to see Eddie Murphy doing his usual stuff again. I like Ben Stiller's comedy too. PQ and SQ are superb...
