Nightmare 1984
I'm not a Freddy fan so I can't remember watching this way back. Now I know why this was such a hit in the 80's. The story was kinda thin but the scares and thrills were enough to keep me glued. Campy but really fun. Oh it was nice to see a very young Johnny Depp. PQ, for an 80's film, was OUTSTANDING. Clarity and definition were superb. You've never seen Nightmare as gorgeous as this.

Nightmare 2010
Not as bad as the reviews it got. I think it's a worthy addition to Nightmare completists. Effects were better of course and the scenes now are more polished than the original. Same old thin story though. PQ, as expected, is very good. Audio is superb. Nag enjoy kami ng wife ko. BTW, my wife hated the previous Nightmare movies but managed to sit through this one

Shrek 3D - The 3D added more depth to the movie. No "in your face" effects though. I just noticed that this version is a bit darker than the 2D release. Note that I observed this without the 3D glasses. $:-\$
