These movies are really good

Shadow Dancer 2012 - Very Irish gray, very gloomy, very gritty, very captivating human drama that revolved around the IRA and MI5 during the early 90s. Special features are highly recommended for more appreciation of the film and the story.

Savages 2012 - Very California yellow and green, some very disturbing scenes, very gritty, very captivating story about an odd trio against the Mexican drug cartel. Cant believe the kinda slutty character O didnt show any boobs. Special features are highly recommended for better appreciation of the film and the story

Flight 2012 - Started with real hot boobs and butt, followed by very fast paced action in a plane - then switched to full drama mode to the end. Fine acting from Denzel, as always.

Deadfall 2012 - Very white, very cold, not so bad story - like a Venn Diagram, with twists of fate and coincidences that ultimately intersected in one location

Great BD viewing experience. I thought it lived up to all the hype. Napuyat kami ng wife ko ilang gabi! I thought the love angle between Carrie and Brody was a bit of a stretch but the twist towards the end of season 1 made it "edible" for me. Speaking of twists, this series has a lot. So be ready not to miss any scene and detail. PQ is great, having shot digitally with high definition Arri Alexa cameras, the 1080p/AVC-encode is heaven! SQ is also superb, despite lots of dialogue. It gets active and engaging when it needs to. Galing!! And as usual, BITIN. Super BITIN.

Seven Samurai - truly a masterpiece. great story from start to finish. a wonderful mix of drama and humor. Great characters (I'm looking at you Kikuchiyo). I was thinking of selling this if I didn't like it. I guess this one is for keeps.

It's such a dumb movie that it's awfully good. My son asked me, "so who's dumber in dumb and dumber?" I would've said 'ME" for enjoying this movie

Have seen this many times and I still can't help but to laugh out loud in tears. I mean, is there something wrong with me? Lots of brown jokes and slapstick but what the heck, I'm happy to own this. PQ and SQ are good! It's the best you'll see this movie.

The Da Vinci Code - disappointing PQ. Most of the movie is soft and lacks that HD sharpness. But I'm a bonus features guy and this comes with an awesome 2nd disc with a BTS documentary that is very entertaining so I'm keeping it.
