Brokeback Mountain: 2-Disc Collector's Edition (Jan 23, 2K7)

Universal has sent over early details on a two-disc collector's edition of Brokeback Mountain which stars Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Williams, and Anne Hathaway. The set will be available to own from the 23rd January, and should set you back around $29.98. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround, and DTS 5.1 Surround tracks. The extra material has yet to be confirmed I'm afraid, but we'll bring you further details very shortly.

I expected this one to come... the first release is barebone anyway  :(

is this limited also? i noticed its becoming a trend for some 2-disc editions like munich, cinderella man, united 93, jarhead...

Titles you mentioned were all from Universal. It looks like it's their strategy. Well, for me, I'm hoping it's limited also. (Meaning, I have to stay on guard again when browsing Amazon, he he!  ;D)

My guess is not so, it.  The ones you mentioned were released in one and two disc at the same time (at launch), with the two-disc being limited.  This look more like an replacement/upgrade to the previous version.  But just speculating, maybe others knows more about it.  In any case, I am not really interested in this title...
