Nakakatawang nakakainis.

Powering cycling on and powering off multiple times w/o any disc inside, napansin ko na upon powering on nakadisplay sa TV ko ay PAL, ding ding ding!!!    Low and behold pagtingin ko sa "initial setting" > video = nakalagay ay 720 x 576i & 720 x 576p, etc.  Sabay kamot sa ulo...ano un naging PAL ung box ko? lol.

Posibilidad na naisip ko ay: dahil marami akong remote, universal, generic, yamaha, etc. baka somewhere somehow code was inputted to change my NTSC box to PAL or may mumu ung box lol.

My plan: Go online to find code related stuff, remote codes etc.  Pero naisip ko na what if i put in an NTSC disc? Ayun walastik bumalik sa normal, no more fuzzy TV.  Pagtingin ko sa "initial settings" > video > balik 720 x 480i, 720 x 480p, etc.

Subukan ko ulit mamaya if i can reproduce what happened.

Good day folks!

System selections are NTSC, PAL and AUTO.

System is probably set to AUTO.  See manual to change system to NTSC.  You will have to use the player's buttons, not the buttons on the remote.  Start with standby mode, press and hold forward button, then press power button to turn on.  Changes will cycle through PAL, NTSC and AUTO.

PAL resolution is 720 x 576; NTSC resolution is 720 x 480.

Your player's system was set at the factory to AUTO by default.  This means that a PAL disc will be output in PAL format, which is 720 x 576; while an NTSC disc will be output in NTSC format, which is 720 x 480.

Unfortunately, your TV is NTSC only, not multisystem.  Since your TV can display only NTSC signals, you should set your player to output NTSC signals only.

Setting the player's system to NTSC will cause the player to do the following:

1.  An NTSC disc will be output in NTSC format;

2. A PAL disc will be read by the player in PAL, then internally converted by the player to NTSC, then output in NTSC format.
