hahaha yeah, exactly what i was thinking. san ba kayo usually bumibili ng BDs? sa amazon mura around $20 lang (900Php) pero syempre may shipping fee pa yun. dito sa pinas nagtanong ako sa infomax 1700 pinaka-mababa. of course i can always opt to buy mint condition BDs din dito sa pinoydvd hehehe

madami dito sa amazon kumukuha tapos johnny air cargo (jac) ang padala ditosa pinas. and tama ka, you can get pre-owned mint condition from the pdvd marketplace. knowing that pdvd members are really video enthusiasts, lahat na mabili mo are parang brand new pero at very reasonable prices na.  ;D

jac yung service na gamit ng tao to ship yung mga orders nila from usa to here, bali when you buy from amazon, you ship it to jac's new jersey office tapos they ship it to the philippines for you to pick up. for a fee syempre. pero mabilis sila kausap.

may thread dito tungkol sa kanila and how to avail of their services.

uy thanks sa link sir! from what i have read sa thread, mukhang ok nga talaga yung JAC at mura lang. mag submit na rin ako ng application, and it's a good thing na may special rates pala sila sa pdvd members.

rule of thumb daw, 1 va = 0.65 watt, so yung 500 va = 325 watts. kaya na yun even with the lcd. although wala masyandong allowance. i think since most probably meroon kang voltage regulator, i-stand alone mo nalang yung ups sa ps3 tapos yung lcd sa voltage regulator mo nalang saksak. para sure lang.

@skylynx

@iiinaslao
naka bada Line conditioner ako courtesy of sir nemesis... so ok na yun for TV right?
kahit 500va nalang na ups just for ps3 im good to go?.. 135watts lang kasi 40gb..

Better get a voltage regulator of at least 1000watts for protection against power surge.

para hindi tayo ot read this thread nalang.  ;D

http://pinoydvd.com/board/index.php?topic=70886.30

basically it answers all your queries. iba kasi ang voltage fluctuation = avr sa surge protection = solo surge protectors or more sophisticated line conditioners (combination of surge protection + line conditioning), in an ideal world and wallet size, you should get an avr and line conditioner, tapos iba ba ups. gastos!  ;D

Was able to finally change it...nagulat ako sa umpisa.
Sobrang panget nung PQ...nakalimuan ko hindi pa pala naka set-up.
So nasa 480i pa siya...sobrang labo.
Buti na lang may improvement when I set the video to 720p via component.
Pero may diff pa din pag HDMI.

Hi Sir,

are you using component cables for the 720p? anu po un cable nio? san nio po nabili?

i was using component cable for my ps3 before. it does produce finer picture quality compared to composite cables. colors are also more vibrant when it comes to using component cable than using composite cables.

^Yup, I meant upscale din (i was careful not to use the term "upscale" baka kasi may iba palang term pag sa divx files etc hehe)

ok thanks bro!

excited na ako magka-PS3! :D pero baka hintayin ko yung lalabas na 80gb with the price of 40gb.
