May feature ba na last memory yung FW 2.42? I was surprised kasi when I put in a BD dun nag start kung saan ko siya last iniwan.

Tried Top Gun BD and it always plays from the start.  :-\  Bookmarks don't work. Is the last memory feature dependent on paticular BD titles? Movies I have in the PS3s HDD always start where I left off even on different titles.

so far i also encountered the same w/ Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of the Black Pearl. It also starts fro the beginning while other Bds starts where i left off.

Guys, How do you charge your PS3 controller?
I usually charge via PC.
Can you charge using a USB Charger? I have one, I just dont know if it works.
How do you its charging? 4 blinking lights? 1 blinking light?

160gb PS3 model announced for America: $499, November release

The 160GB model announced at Leipzig today will also be coming to America in a new bundle featuring last year's blockbuster PS3 exclusive, Uncharted. For $499, the 160GB system will include the new 160GB system, a DUALSHOCK 3 controller, a voucher for PAIN and a copy of Uncharted. It will be available in November.

"As PLAYSTATION Network continues to evolve with our recently launched video delivery service and more exclusive games, PS3 owners are demanding more storage capacity," said Jack Tretton, president and CEO, SCEA. "Consumers also are utilizing PS3 as an entertainment hub for their digital media, placing content such as their entire music collection on the hard drive. The 160GB PS3 system addresses this growing consumer demand in a compelling bundle that delivers significant value."

this is a great bundle mga christmas meron na siguro datablitz nito.

This new model Wireless Keypad should complement that 160GB PS3  ;D ;D ;D

QUOTE:
"Sony Computer Entertainment unveiled a new Playstation 3 Wireless Keypad peripheral at the Leipzig Games Convention today.

The small Bluetooth device clips on top of either a SIXAXIS or DualShock 3 PS3 controller.

A Communication Button, Message Box Button and Touch Pad Button are all included just below the Sony logo for easy access.

Games like LittleBigPlanet, which will be available when the Keypad is released, as well as the Home Open Beta and future games DC Universe Online and The Agency from Sony Online should all benefit from the Keypad.

The Keypad is expected to aid in Blu-ray online features such as chat via BD-Live, already confirmed to appear on The Incredible Hulk."   :D

I've read that PS3 HDD is hot swappable and can be upgraded to one that has a higher capacity.  Do you still need to re-install the OS if you change the HDD?

afaik its not hotswappable .. but you can change it to a higher capacity .. youll be needing a sata 2.5 5400 rpm (ive read 7200rpm works but i think itll run hotter) ..
just use the backup and restore feature of your ps3 .. :)

There is a little lag in the input as compared to a wired keyboard but acceptable.  Just needs a little getting used to.  ;D

What are the new features of the upgraded firmware 2.42? Is it worth the upgrade?

Main features in system software update version 2.42
• The playback quality of some PLAYSTATION®3 and PlayStation® format software has been improved.

I guess no harm in updating the FW tho I'm still using the previous one....I'm really lazy when it comes to FW update.  ;D
