;) Or, you can scout for pre-loved polk speakers here at the marketplace.

@Sir Nelson, actually Sir, Medyo matagal narin akong nag aabang ng pre owned TSi 100 di maka tsamba  ;D, yung M series mukang okay din itong alternative, I'll look into it. Thank you Sir.

Sayang naman if you don't complete your speaker system with the same series. Before I used to have different rear speakers which was a carry over from my old system, then when I saved enough to buy the correct rear speakers to match my fronts and center, the improvement was like night and day. Pag-ipunan mo na lang yun TSI 100.

Agree. If you have spare speakers lying around, yun na muna and save up for the real deal.

Timber matched simply means that all your speakers have a similar sound in the midrange and high frequencies. If you add a TSI 100 it would match the rest of your TSI speakers since it uses the same tweeter.

I tried reading some articles/forum dito sa PDVD pero nd ko ma-gets yung measures and terms para ma set up yung AVR...

Thanks in Aadvance po and Happy New Year!

Pero pag HT let the subs handle the lower frequencies.

Which Mission speakers? Is it the MX series? If your space allows, floorstanding speakers will have more bass than bookshelf speakers.

The MX series of Mission is an incredible value, MX1 and MX3 are rated 5 stars by What Hi-Fi. They need to be paired with a bright sounding amp though.

Go for the Polk Audio RTi series. These are very powerful efficient speakers that match well with your onkyo. Great sound for both movies and music.

Yes.  The best thing to do however is to listen to them yourself.  Bang for buck, the RTi series presents one of the best, if not the best, propositions against other brands.   Within the series, it was my experience that each higher model presents a strong argument to move up to it - this is how I ended up at the A9.

Mga Masters, Pls recommend a speaker for HT and music 50/50. Im choosing between AE neo 1 v2 and KEF Q300, ill be building my system around these speakers. Right now im using Pio vsx 520k for HT and Dayton Dta 100a for music, but eventually ill upgrade to suit what speaker ill choose. My budget for L/R speaker is 20-25k. you may suggest other speakers that fits the budget. i already auditioned the AEs but the KEF not yet.

TIA  :)

Some speakers in that price range:

Mordaunt Short Mezzo 2
Klipsch RB 61 II
PSB Image B6
B&W 685
Monitor Audio RX1
Monitor Audio BX2
Polk Audio RTI A3

My current speakers are Klipsch for HT and Mezzo 2 for audio though the Mezzo's would also do really well for HT but the Klipsch had the option of Bipole wall mounted surrounds which the Mezzo doesn't have. For my room wall mounted surrounds are the only option.

I haven't heard the KEF Q300, it got a 5 star rating in What Hi Fi magazine but reading forum experiences of owners don't seem to confirm the 5 star rating, so an audition would be really be in order.

I don't think you can go wrong with these speakers including the ones you are considering. It will be down to your preference and system matching. Good luck with the hunt!

Klipsch and PSB can be auditioned at Spectra at Park Square Makati. Mezzo 2 at 5th Avenue, B&W 685, RTI A3, and Monitor Audio speakers at AVshop. Watts Hi Fi at Makati Cinema Square also has a good selection of speakers to listen to (upstairs and downstairs, they have 2 shops). Klipsch may be brighter than RTI A3, I haven't done a back to back listen with these.
