Ano po maganda kapalit ng Dynaudio Audience 42 for music? Thinking of upgrading, budget in the 50's.

Dont' know how much or if still available but the Audience 52 will be a step up over the 42 if you want to stick with Dyn and have the amplifier to power them well.

Rotel RA-1520 ang gagamitin ko, maganda naman tumunog sa Audience 42 ko very detailed, musical kaso im wanting a bit more lush sounding midrange which i dont think the audience and excite series can provide. they are designed to sound neutral imo.

Im looking at the new def tech studiomonitors 65. d'appolito config with passive rads. i dunno, the gimmick of def tech sells to me specially when I heard the Mythos STS playing.

Pero may iba pa bang suggestions? Thinking of getting an old,old dynaudio contour but i dunno how previous dyns sound and also concerned on wear and tear. Any comments on the new LSi M's from polk?

Hey guys. Good morning. Hingi lang sana ako ng recommendation kung anong speaker ang ikakabit ko sa lumang Yamaha RXV-440 na nabili ko din dito sa PDVD around 2007. I needed an upgrade from my crappy Konzert 5.1 na medyo masakit sa mata.  ;D What should I look for? May nakita akong Jamo na 5 speakers almost 10k lang sa SM appliance and hihingi lang ako ng advice before I take the plunge. Medyo na-ignore ko kasi tong hobby natin nung naging busy sa work. Gusto ko sana floor standing ung fronts para bagay sa TV ko. Thanks in advance! You guys are awesome.

Jamo is ok. And while your at it, try to check out jamo sub. I heard they're on sale and super reasonable ang prices.

The contour 1.1 is a very good upgrade for ur 42s and within your budget. Don't worry as they are made to last.

longterm meaning you can feed the speakers with 130 watts for long periods without breaking. Short term meaning you can feed 210 watts for short burst.

The Audience series was primarily designed for HT applications but they do well in double duty for music. The Contours however is a step up from the A series. Malayo ang tunog lalo na sa music compared to the Aseries. It sounds a lot more refined. Def Tech is a very good speaker brand however its specialty is HT as well so you might be in for a disappointment if you are after musicality. Same dilemma that I had a couple of years back when I had the A50's as my main stereo speakers. Its good to begin with however in time you get to wonder if there is still something more potent. That I found in the Contour.

Be wary as well with the Dyn and Rotel combo. Tried it before with my A50's and found out that the combi is very unforgiving. It gets it right if EVERYTHING else is right like source, pre, speaker cables, interconnects and software. One can get the ancillary equipment right however the sad part is that not all software is right to begin with. Not all recordings are pristine.

the LSiMs are awesome. It can compete with other brands way above it's price point. It's a must to audition these speakers if your on a hunt for above P50t pair.

I'm planning of setting up a 2-channel set up and looking into the below speakers. Kindly give your thoughts and opinions. Budget for the speakers is around 100K pesos.

1. Aurum Cantus V3M / Volla
2. Monitor Audio GX100
3. Acoustic Energy Reference 1

Will be pairing them with my Cayin CD player and Integrated Amp.
