polk rtia A3...

If your using polk audio rti a3, then your better off using polk audio owm3 for the  rears.

Question lang din po...ok lang po bang nsa top ng listening area ang surrounds?yun sofa ko po kasi nkadikit sa wall..thx in advance
according to some, if possible bipole for rear and direct radiating & dipole side. :)
10 dfs is bipole btw not a dipole.

Yes it's ok if you have no choice. You can aim/tilt it slightly downwards na lang.

Hi guys,

I'm planning to setup an entry level 5.1 HT, for our small room.

To be used 70% movies and 30% music.

I'm on a tight budget and I cannot afford polk audio tsi series, which I really like.

Now I'm considering Wharfedale Diamond 10 series, which will fit my budget.

Are they good?

Thanks in advance.

do you already have a receiver? I recommend that you build slowly. go for the Polk TSi's you want! start with a 2.0 or 2.1 setup then add later when you have more funds. ;)

better siguro to start slowly kasi dyan usually pumapasok ang upgradititis. aim for what you like. but do a side by side comparison/audition of the TSi and the wharfs. av reciever tapos front left and right muna. ipon ulit for a sub, then ipon ulit for a center, then ipon some more for surrounds

Okay ba magcmula ng 3.0 setup? Eto un naiisip ko na setup. Rti a9 for fronts and csi A6 for center.

Or

2.1 setup? Rti a9 for fronts and svs pb12nsd.

Isa isa mo na lang paliytan ang speakers mo. Start with the fronts and center. Could you name the brand and model of your LCR so we can further give you a detailed advice...

Hi Sir Nelson,

Yung L & R ay generic speakers from taiwan (A&S 150w) while center speaker is Philips (no model indicated) galing ito sa 5.1 na component.  ;D

depende yan sa panlasa mo. some people will get the center speaker first para mas claro daw yung dialog. while others gusto makarinig ng slam and boom when watching kaya subwoofer ang priority.

HTH.... ;D ;D ;D

If your own a tight budget, but want to get polk audio, then consider the Polk audio M series. Sights & sound can give you a good deal.

if your speakers are really good, you can get away without a center channel. try placing the two front channels closer together. ;)

hello again :)

I stretched my budget for a floorstanding speakers, it's still low though.
Can anyone recommend a efficient/easy to drive speakers for around 10-12k budget?

It will be powered by Sony dh720.

TIA!

Check for discounted pricing on the Polk M20 or the Mission MV6. They might be within reach. The Mordaunt Short Carnival 6 could be another option.

Just seeking suggestions for my planned HT set up. This will be used 100% for HT but I watched concert blurays too. What 5.0 speaker set up would you recommend that I should audition for 160K budget. I already have subwoofer.

For 100% HT use, i'd get a polk rti a9 setup. may sukli pa malamang yung 160k, and probably you can dedicate that remaining budget for a power amp.

You're definitely right sa polk rti a9 for HTS...I strongly suggest din sa mga nagnanais na mag set up ng HTS.....try to consider the polk rti's....A9, csi A6, fxi A6 plus dswpro 660wi for sub...or any sub na gusto mo....and give the a9 the power he wants ei ill assure you na kahit sa 2 channel audio you'll enjoy the A9.....depende na yun sa kung ano ang preference mo pagdating sa music....

My A9 is currently powered by high current marantz 110w/c but still not enough power para mapakanta to his level  ang A9 ko.....but sooner or later it will powered by a dedicated 300watts/c amplifier para sa kanyang best performance level hahaha.....

Depende yan sa concert na papanoorin mo...

I watched the concert of eagles in my set-up...

for me, the number of woofers on the a9 overwhelms the brightness of the rti series, plus if you'd really like to tone down the brightness, your receiver should have a treble adjustment. plus room acoustics help too like avoid letting the tweeter reflect on glass, since it amplifies the brightness.

+1 sa room acoustics....+1 din sa treble adjustment....

Currently listening sa linkin park via 2 channel audio...a9 towers..at kung tightness ng bass ang paguusapan solve ka sa woofers ng A9 at kung ma bass ka sa pakikinig like me...ei dswpro660wi or kung ano gusto mo....sure ako magenjoy ka....

mga sir,

newbie here. gusto ko sanang maglagay ng 2 tower speakers para sa blu-ray player at lcdtv. problem is pwede po kayang ikabit dun ang speakers? pati im in a tight budget, pwede po kaya yung mga nakikita ko na konzert tower speakers pra sa small room? thanks in advance
