i was just reading the build quality of these speakers and it's very impressive. enclosure is twice as sturdy as our psb image speakers. the shallow wave guide along with it's tuned crossover were specifically calculated to integrate both drivers. the inverted driver design were made by paul barton to move cancellations toward the floor. so yun pala ang purpose nun kaya inverted din yung high-end bookshelves ng dyns. really great speaker designer. i also enjoy reading his speaker manuals. very informative.

For the price, I'd say the Epos would be better value for money vs the Dynaudio, IF we were comparing the Epic 2 / Elan 15 big bookshelves to the Audience / Xcite / Focus bookshelves.  Anything higher hindi na patas yung laban. . .

Actually been auditioning quite a bit for a second system (Polk Rti series, PSB, Paradigm, Dynaudio, Acoustic Energy, Rega, JBL, Goldenear, B&W, to name a few) and by far the new Epos line has piqued my interest quite a bit. . . for the sheer price to performance value.

Though as in all things audio, everything depends on your musical taste.  I like the more refined sound of Brit speakers  . . .

uy bro! hindi ah. i just need to control myself na. hehehe. regarding the tweeter height, sakto lang siya sa seating location di na need ng extra height. iba kasi design ng crossover nya to compensate sa configuration ng drivers.

Sounded very decent with a Dared MP5 and a NAD 316bee . . . so I'm guessing improved amplification will only make it sound better.

synch 1b, 70-90k sir depending on the shop and the terms of payment. bnew. you might get better deals elsewhere not sure where nga lang 

meron sa marketplace 65k lang na 2yr-old synchrony two tower. good deal na yun. mukhang mint pa naman.

i presently own a 42, a 50 and a Contour 1.8MKII and based on experience If compared to the Audience line there are a lot of more cost effective speakers that will give it a run for its money. when acquiring Dynes the cost doesn't end in buying the speakers. Mating it with a quality and beefy amp plus good electronics and cables will bring out the best in them. I just dont see that equation happening to a lot of people if they are just starting in this hobby or this madness. The bottom line will shock you for sure and you will say to yourself "entry level pa lang ganito na expense ng Dyne based system". You can assemble a comparatively similar in performance type of a system that is cheaper if you base it say on an Epos or what have you. A stable 8 ohm amp will do because the specs of those speakers are not as stiff so on that aspect alone you save money. Sound wise it is subjective. If you lust for the Dyne house sound then the Audience will give you a slice of it and mind you...that slice is very good to begin with.

OTOH here is where it pays off...if one manages to foot the bill on the amps, electronics and ancilliary stuff for an Dyne Audience based system, moving up to the Contour and even the confidence line then one doesn't need to resell and upgrade the hardware anymore.  You get a level up on performance in all aspects by just moving up the Dyne line.

In other words you have to be whole hearted in choosing to go Dynes. It can't be half baked wherein you will skimp on the amps and the other stuff needed for it to shine. Do so and you just shortchange yourself with what you just acquired.
