guys,

Budget as of now 40k pero pwede naman magipon kesa naman di ako ma satisfy sa first buy.  maliit lang room ko ngayon but will be moving to a studio type 45-60 sq m floor area soon.

You might want to audition the CHT-15R of mike c now on sale at B&S.  :)
With too many options you could end up not choosing one

Hi Sirs,

I've been reading posts here for a while now, ngayon lang ako nagka guts mag post.

I currently have Euros 6 (Daiichi, http://www.daiichi.ph/ht_spkrs.htm) fronts and center, a decent daiichi BP120 sub (http://www.daiichi.ph/ht_sub.htm), and Wharfedale WH2 surrounds. All being driver by a marantz sr4500 receiver.Quite entry level, I know, but they've served me well. :)

I'm now thinking of slowly upgrading the speakers, starting with the fronts. I'm considering getting a pair of diamond 8.4's (P6500 more or less), but I'm not sure if i need a floorstander anyway.

So, what can you recommend? Budget (sana) within 7k-8k lang. To be used for both HT and stereo audio  (and hopefully soon for high def audio soundtracks), with the marantz sr4500. And maliit lang po yung room, around 20 sq m.

Thank you po!

for 20sqm, I would definitely use a floorstander.

If your application is HT the bigger the better. Bigger subs are easier to tune rather smaller one, especially if you have bigger room.
Try to audition them, di naman sila gaano critical, not unless for 2 channel Audio, they should match on your front speakers.

Look for the Gallo Acoustics Micro. Inform me if interested.

http://www.anthonygallo.co.uk/

This is more aesthetically appealing and better sounding than Bose Accoustimas. Has a lot of mounting options. Has different colors to choose.

This looks nice... where can I audition this?

I have a Yamaha RX-V361 on a bedroom setup (15sqr. meters). I want to upgrade my front speakers since I'm using my 18 yrs old Sony SS-D50 speakers as front, Pioneer S-X33V coaxial shielded center speaker (which is very good to my taste), and rear is Work Studio-2. I've just ordered a Polk Audio PSW110 and will be able to have it by Tuesday next week. With this setup, what's the recommended front speakers? I'll retain my SS-D50 (8" Woofer and metal dome tweeter) switching it to "B" and my new fronts will be for "A".

We find Polk Audio RM-705 5.1 sub/sat HT speakers to be a good match with HK. This system generates powerful yet clean and deep bass. Its timbre matching speakers create coherent surround soundfield that will fill up the room with action.

We invite you to audition PolK Audio RM-705 at our showroom Sights and Sounds 4th level Shangri-La Plaza.

A good front speaker to match Yamaha is still the Wharfedale either floorstanding Diamond 9.5 or bookshelf Diamond 9.1. For further info about Wharfedale Diamond, you can check out the Wharfedale Diamond thread: http://pinoydvd.com/board/index.php?topic=39432.2910. Members find Wharfedale Diamond complement with Yamaha.

You are invited to audition the Wharfedale at our showroom Sights and Sounds 4th level Shangri-La Plaza.
