Gandhi: 25th Anniversary Edition
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release a new Gandhi: 25th Anniversary Collector's Edition on February 13th, 2007. The 1982 Best Picture Oscar winner arrives on this two-disc set with a 2.35:1 anamorphic transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks. Bonus materials include an introduction to the film and audio commentary with director Lord Richard Attenborough, the featurettes "In Search of Gandhi," "Reflections on Ben," "Madeleine Slade: An Englishwoman Abroad," "The Funeral," "Shooting An Epic In India," "Looking Back," "Designing Gandhi" (3 featurettes) and "From the Director's Chair" (2 featurettes). Retail is $24.96.
