Sir,

I have seen this mediacom DVD karaoke player (that you aggressively advertised) being distributed locally by video city here in our place..

It's quite a good player since it has an on screen menu already where you can select and search for the songs that you want to sing.. It has a smooth silver casing and the build quality is good.

But... for the benefits of those people here in this forum who haven't seen this player yet, my suggestion lang sir is to post a pic so that they can also see and appreciate and judge the product by themselves.

Good morning to everyone.

I have a player just like this one. With the USB 2.0 slot, It can play all div-x videos flowlessly using my 40 GB hard disk with an IDE to USB converter. I can watch movies downloaded from the internet with AVI extentions as long as I want.

Just to share one of its adavantages....

ilan na ang upgrade CD nya? pagka alam ko 1 or 2 palang. You said that every 3 months you offer new CD upgrades right? but my friend had his mediacom for more than 2 years na and theres only 1 upgrade (or maybe 2 now) that was released since then....

mr pinoyako, galing ako sa raon last week (duon sa mall just before the pedestrian overpass kung galing QC papuntang Quiapo Church) to scout for a good karaoke player and kung hindi po ako nagkakamali eh mga P6,000 lang ang price nitong brand/model (Mediacom) duon. bakit po more than 150% ang price ninyo? kung dahil sa 1 yr. warranty, e, hindi naman dapat ganoon kalaki ang price difference...

I recently bought a Mediacom DVD3000 Pro from Raon for 6k and am enjoying it a lot. But like yellahfellah mentioned in a previous post, the price listed here seems rather high. =)

I tried the disc in 2 regular DVD players and it doesn't work. The files seem to be encoded specifically for the Mediacom player. Hopefully there will be an update disc soon because the one I got with my unit isn't up to date with the latest songs about 6 months or so back.

Can anyone help me on my Mediacom DVD Karaoke? Suddenly there's no video out but audio OK..Tried fixing all cables but to no avail. Just want to have it checked.

gud day! i've seen mediacom mci3000 sa robinson its 13k ang package nya with 2wireless microphone, 5.1 speakers 60watts sub sattelite 30wattsx5 ang maganda dito pwede mo i-record ang kinanta mo using usb and mem card, tapos pwede pang palitan ang background nya...

Did you notice if the mediacom dvd karaoke was attached to an amplifier or not (...the demo unit at Robinson)? I was wondering kasi if the sound output would be acceptable kung hindi na ako bumili ng amplifier for this and just directly connect it to a TV and 2.1 speakers/sub. Because if a separate amplifier is needed to get decent sound output for this mediacom dvd karaoke, I might consider getting a Karavision Karaoke + separate amplifier instead which would cost me just a little over P6,000. (Compared with P6,000 current cost of mediacom dvd karaoke mci3000 at Raon.)

Anyone care to comment on that? $:-\$

guys, i have a mediacom home theater set.. it was given to me 2years ago... now the songs are old and the karaoke disc is really beaten up to hell... i need a new and updated karaoke disc for mediacom mc-2800plus...

can anyone tell me where and how to purchase the disc?? thanks..

PS: in the updated disc, will i get the added songs (song list)?

btw, its a mediacom made in korea but bought in dubai

Sir, does this already include the 5.1 home theater speakers (as stated in a previous post by koolitz10 above)? Because I believe that you can get this in Raon without the 5.1 speakers (just the main unit, song list & a microphone or two) for about P6,000.00 from my last survey about 2 months ago. However, Raon is Raon... meaning you have to check and test everything to be sure. And the warranty is just something like 3 months instead of the usual 1 year that they give in the mall.

Whatever you decide, don't forget to ask them as of what month their (song) disc is updated for, when they will be coming out with an updated disc, where you can buy said updated disc and for how much. Because the songs you will be able to choose/sing with your Mediacom MCI3000 will be limited by the contents of this (song) disc, I suggest you also take it under consideration.
