Hi,

I managed to have free time last weekend, so here you go.

After a tiring week, my weekend normally starts with a cry "Ryanito Transform"...

Note that my room is only 9ft by 9ft and you might think how could I achieve a decent sound stage with the limited and unconventional space. But with the untiring help and guidance of my friends in this hobby, I was able to achieve the music I long for. I might not have much of the gears but I am proud that I built my system the way I preferred it to be.

Most of you are aware that I only have weekends to enjoy music and you might wonder how I fill my thirst on weekdays, here you go again.




My HT gears are gone, but never too far, nasa tatay ko eh!

Folks,

This is the most decent pix I could get.

Gear details:
Receiver - HK AVR240
DVD Player - JVC (basta jvc, got it as part of the TV package)
CDP - HK HD970 (naghahanap na siya ng mga tropapiks na pang-audio)
Fronts - Mission M31 BS speakers
Center - Mission M3C2
Rears - Wharfs WH2 in Lovan speaker stands (the stands were initially intended for the M31s, e ang taas ayun todas)
Subwoofer - DQ12
Interconnects - monster cables (failed to get other specifics)
Speaker Wires - Lightning Audio Strike (pang - oto, ayos din)
Room Size - 9 ft x 9 ft


Upgrade path: Tama na muna sa HT (sub probably hehe), am now saving money for a dedicated audio set-up.

Marami pong salamat sa lahat at sa pinsan kong lagi kong kinukulit (saltuhin).

Update ko lang po to include my audio gears.
Integrated Amp - Luxman L1
Speakers - Wharf PI 10 na sobrang sulit
Speaker Wires - ecosse 2.3

Planning to have an AV rack to integrate CRT, players, receiver and amp.

Thanks sir matz, nainip na kasi ako sa paghahanap ng 70c2 or m3 series na FS. Yung friend mo ba using M34, walang balak mag-upgrade?

LOL, honestly you might not like the way the M34's will sound in a bare walled 9ft by 9 ft room. Used to have the same speakers (M34) in a same sized bare walled room... it was boomy at times. Those were my "basta magka floorstander" days, I learned there that FS is not always the solution .

Ok na yung M31's mo IMO.  save up na lang for a good sub & the dedicated audio setup (w/c is magastos)

Haha  Actually, Na-nonotice nga nya yung difference sa sounds ko sa oto compared sa room. She's learning if there is an image o wala, kaka-experiment ko kasi dati.

Thanks bro.  Small time lang yan, but enough to satisfy my musical preference. You should hear our PIs giving out unexpected low freqs.

Hi Leomar,

Let me share my short M3 story. It all started when one of our folks swapped his old Mission 702e floorstanding speakers with my dad's vintage bose 501 speakers. Since the 702s can't do well with our lux, I decided to put up an HT. M3C2 as center for the 702s, ayun timber disconnect. So hunt ulit, now for any m3 series fronts to pair up with my center. NOS for M3s are so rare and wala masyado sa buy and sell. So when I finally found the m31s, tinodas na agad
