Any review for Sharp Aquos 32A37M for 25,000 Pesos CASH at Abenson Sta Lucia Mall (2nd floor) along Marcos Highway (near LRT Santolan Station)?

Bought this unit at Trinoma Ansons, the one inside the department store last January. Got this at same price you posted at 0% installment. But if you pay in cash it is 24T. The unit has nice picture quality. The things you might consider.
a. it is only up to 1080i does not support 1080p but for me its okay
b. The auto detection for the cable is not the same channel as your cable company
c. it is kind of slow during the switching between channels.

Personally, I am happy with the unit especially with the deal I got.
If you want to get the discounted HTIB sharp you just add 2,500 instead of the regular price of 9999 pesos.

Using the sharp HTIB promo that came with the LCD, the DVD PQ for me is quite good using the upscaling. Have not tried it with High Def players. For SD as usual it is not that clear.
It has different settings, Standard/Movie/Dynamic fixed/dynamic/PC and User settings.

I have tried playing PS3 on it, AC2 and Ninja Gaiden 2 - ok na ok naman picture quality. PS2 over component cable isn't that nice since its in SD. I also hooked it up to my PC and played Modern Warfare 2 and it looks fantastic! Definitely a great buy! Don't be that particular with the specs. Its better to test with your eyes pa rin. hehe

oh my.  i bought mine for 26k last december!  hayzzz ambilis naman bumaba ang presyo! kaka asar naman nun!  nalugi ako ah!  i was actually planning on buying a panny na 20k lang.  pero wala sa robinsons appliances eh.  satisfied naman ako sa performance and picture quality pero hindi sa price!!!

totoo ang sinabi ng isang nagpost dito na magulo ang channel programming nito at matagal din ang pag switch ng channels. 

the only thing that would make me happy with this is if it really is JAPAN parts.  yun kasi ang sabi sakin ng salesman.  sabi nya true japan daw at walang china or even taiwan parts.  parang yung mga samsung at lg na korean parts din talaga.  sana totoo ito at kung hindi man totoo sana naman after more than 10 years tsaka ito masira!!!!

@pusa - hindi ko pa nakukuha yung HT eh. This week daw darating stocks nila. Pero meron na rin naman ako Samsung na HT mas malakas sounds. Yung bundle dito hindi nga daw masyado malakas.

@ris - mahirap talaga bumili pag december medyo mahal pa. nagbabagsak ng price kasi after the holidays. well to tell the truth, i dont watch television at all sa TV ko na to. ginagamit ko lang siya for PC, HT and PS3 kaya ok lang hindi ko inayos yung channels. kaya pala nagpiprisinta yung salesman na ayusin niya yung channels, sabi ko no need dahil hindi ko naman siya gagamitin. same lang din ng sinabi ng salesman sakin na all japan nga daw siya. well for me japan or not, Sharp naman talaga pinakamatibay IMHO.

Nasa Western Appliance Trinoma din ako kahapon, they are offering this for 21k (SHARP LC-32A37M). Not bad. Kaya lang bat parang hindi ito napaguusapan dito? Panget ba sya? Im torn bet SHARP LC-32A37M, PANASONIC L32C10X and TOSHIBA 32AV600E. Any advice? Thanks

The HT I got together with my sharp is region free. Can play region 1 and 3 disks that I have. The unit can do upscaling and seems to work okay with my LCDTV Aquos. Just use HDMI. Can get the cable in CDRking.
This unit (LCDTV)does not handle 1080P only up to 1080i but since the HT player can handle 1080P.
The sounds is fine for me since, I have a small room. Just make sure the settings for the speaker is set to large rather than small.
Noted that it seems to generate a lot of heat which is why I pull the cord if I dont use it.
The remote control has weird placements of stop,pause etc.

Overall for the 2500 extra, I am happy with the performance price factor considering its limitations.

for me, okay ang PQ.  but i havent tested that much lcd tvs to begin with.  decent naman for me ang TV.  syempre pag naka hdmi connection sya super clear.  ang labanan kasi sa lcd tv yung PQ pag naka TV lang.  if you have problems with 1080p then this tv doesnt have it.  kakainis lang talaga na bumaba presyo nya after ko kunin.  but generally im happy.  sana talagang JAPAN ito at kung hindi man japan sana will last long. 

the other problem i have with this tv is its speaker.  medyo malakas kasi ako mag volume at times so inis ako sa lcd tv kasi puro mahihina ang volume compared to its crt tv counterparts na ang lakas sobra ng volume.  but its a general lcdtv problem and not an aquos one

was able to get this unit for php21k plus php2,500 sharp ht bundle from western pasay road. very happy with it and the htib, although small, was able to belt nicely in my bedroom set-up. the sharp lcd was superb...crisp and clear using hdmi. the bundled dvd player/amp was quite a revelation as it even has usb and sd card readers plus radio. all in all, a well spent 23,500

tapos my niece was the one who picked a stub from the raffle of Citibank...she won a Philipps micro component na wall mountable!

only weird thing is the auto detection as mentioned. but quite good pq.

I think the lowest price I've seen for this LCD is Php 20,900 at PriceSmart Alabang. The HTIB is also bundled for FREE. Just buy a Php 200 HDMI from CD-R King and you'll be one happy camper ;-)

The bundled HTIB ain't much compared to other HTIBs from other brands. Small satellite speakers, crappy remote, poor upscaling capability and set-up is not very intuitive. We have this at my parents home and they are only able to use it when I'm there to configure and set it up for them. Parang wala siyang automatic configuration to detect kung ano yung format na binabasa niya. The upside is maganda yung integration ng sub niya for stereo listening. Tsaka yung TV used most for cable viewing kaya di rin masiyado gamit yung HTIB.
