Marimar is an upcoming GMA Network teledrama, it is a Philippine TV version of the Mexican telenovela with the same title starring Thalia.

It is rumored that this will be Angel Locsin's next project after Asian Treasures. It is also rumored that Locsin will have Dingdong Dantes as his leading man for this series.

Sitti will sing the theme song.

she can't even act decently, but...you have got to admit....she has one amazing body. hmm... maybe that's why she gets all the projects? hehehehehehe

Seems like wala ng maisip na original shows ang GMA 7. Halos lahat ng bagong shows nila remake; Amazing twins ala Sailor Moon, Lupin, Shaider and now Marimar?!

Mas maganda sana kung si Micheal V. na lang ang gumanap na Corazon. Tsaka normal voice ni Micheal V. ang gamit niya kay fulgoso. Sana medyo kenkoy yung voice niya para nakakatawa.

Hindi ko sya type.. parang she lacks that umph that Thalia brings to the character. Parang Thalia's innocent but not, this one, innocent na ewan. hehehe.. sorry! just my 2 cents.

I love her! So fresh and vivacious! Kinikilabutan ako sa pag-iyak nya nung mamatay yung lolo at lola nya! Kudos to GMA for making the right choice! Ratings nito are very high lalo na kung i-consider mo na mas late pa sya kesa sa Zaido and Kokey

When I first saw Marian Rivera on TV, I thought she could be the local version of Yeong-ae Lee as Jang-Geum. She's got the resemblance most especially if she don a Jang-Geum outfit. Acting is a differrent story though.
