im sitting almost 7-8 feet from the teebee, so i dun think i can feel it, although i did wen in front of it a few seconds to see how HD was it  ;D

lucky my rear still has good ventilation, not a problem @ all

setup the whole thing by myself yesterday, but carrying the previous 29 slimfit up to my bedroom was killing me, today, i have sore shoulders  :'(

This model is still selling like hot cake, till now 90% of my clients prefer this model over other available plasma brands in the market, and yet the price is still reasonable. ;)

Regards to ivan for the 4th unit he got from me, congrats bro! ;D

Thanks guys for the replies. I was contemplating on replacing my 37" LCD w/ a plasma. But during these times that we are minimizing our electric consumption, I think it wouldn't be practical on my circumstances (coz i usually watch without A/C & just a fan for air circulation).  I'll just stick with my LCD then.

hi! i'll get back to you after this month if there is a marked increase in my electric consumption. i usually watch an average of 2 hours a day and this  past month, a little more, as my parents stayed with me for a while. so at least maybe 3-5 hours a day. as for the heat, it's definitely hotter than a regular crt tv, but should not be enough to sway you from buying it  ;D

@rx330:

Yes please, it will be highly appreciated. :o)

yesterday tried the pv70 with my notebook, connect thru VGA
was set @ 1024 X 768 (my notebook settings) everything is fine thru the plasma, then i adjust it to the highest settings, but no different from the previous one

everything is ok to me, the wordings are readable, 16:9 was ok, tested a few SD cartoons and movie, output was great though

now i makes me itchy to get a pc for the plasma......  :'(

@ fait
i dun think there is any pixelation on the icons, or maybe its my peasant eye? cant see the diference

will try to post the pics tonite

btw, guys, wats the purpose of break in 100-200hours? no more burn in/image retention?
as yesterday i was playing heavenly sword for quite a while, maybe 40-80 minutes, later i actually notice there is burn in, i could see nariko's health bar if i stand in front of the tv, its not very very obvious, but definitely its there

will it go off by itself?

^ same thing happened to me when i watched Kung Fu Hustle. I was forced to watch it with the black bars otherwise I wouldn't be able to understand the movie without the subtitles.

When I finished the movie, the color of the black bar on top was darker than the center portion of the screen where the movie was shown. Also, the portion of the black bar at the bottom where the subtitles were shown was considerably lighter than the other parts. When I switched to tv programming (full screen), the burn-in disappeared after a while.

scared the crap out of me. haven't watched with the black bars since.  at least until i finish the 100 bars burn in. ;D
