I do not use it as amonitor, but if I may suggest, break in the tv with moving and non stagnant images for the first 100hours :D  If you watch tv or are really fond of movies, that time will pass by faster than you know it.

Cheers!

whenever im at abenson's avant or anson's, pag may mga sure buyers ako na napapansin, parang gustung gusto ko sabihan " bro, havent you heard of S&S or TW?" kaso baka bugbugin ako ng mga guards kasi for sure di na yun bibili once malaman nila prices sa iba. ;D

napapakamot na lang ako sa ulo pag may mga palabas na unit from their stores.

sir vic and jeff, why dont you go mainstream o mag full blast advert kayo? meron ba agreement between manufacturers to follow SRP kunwari or not to directly compete with these AV/appliance stores?

just a question, how would you know that your voltage regulator is working aside fom the bulb that lights up whenever i turn it on? Yung gamit ko kasi sa panny ko was an old stock avr, 500w, matagal nakaimbak, never been used till dumating yung plasma ko.

i think that this is ot, but anyway here's how you check - you would need some tools to do this - a variac and a voltmeter...the variac will be used to vary the input voltage from the minimum to maximum rated input voltage rating of the avr, then the voltmeter will be used to measure the output voltage of the avr ... if your avr is working properly, the output voltage should be constant even if you are varying the input voltage

Ay sir, pag ginawa ni sir vic and jeff na mag full blast advert, magiging mahal na ang product nila, kasi yung advertising budget ay ipapasa rin nila sa ating mga consumers!  Jeff and Vic are well known to many kahit di sila nagaadvertise kasi very fair ang prices nila and they give excellent after sales service.  Word of mouth lang ang advertisement nila, you cannot put a good man down!   :)

PV70 din ba yung 103" na plasma ng panasonic?  Saw it last night at Trinoma, gamit ng Sunsilk Shanpoo sa Ad nila, sa top most floor tabi ng moviehouses.

hi,
has anyone here tried connecting it to a computer. did you connect it through DVI, VGA?
How is the quality also? I tried connecting mine using a 5m vga cable and the picture
on the plasma is not very good. it flickers constantly. Don't know if this is due to the
low quality vga cable i bought at cdrking.

Probably the VGA cable.  I have used a Tripplite 5 meter VGA cable with no problems whatsoever.

thanks sir, that's probably it. the build of the vga cable i bought looks so inferior to the ones
that are bundled with LCD monitors. thanks again

I use mine for my htpc. I don't stay in the desktop for long periods of time, usually kasi pagbinuksan ko HTPC either watch ako movie or play music. I don't use it to play games or browse the net. Medyo kakaconsious talaga yung image retention. Pagnaglalaro ako sa ps3 napapasin ko mga places na hindi gaano gumagalaw like life bars and status windows. Pero so far ala pa naman ako naencounter na image retention.
