OT lang mga boss, san ako makakakuha ng disc na aquarium like what jeff/nemesis has? pero i need the regular dvd lang, wala pa ako BD eh. gusto ko sana itry sa pv70 ko.

You can buy a p****** version of this (regular dvd copied from the original blu-ray) and it has a very good pq. Its title is Exotic Saltwater Aquarium by HDscape

Thank you sir for buying TV from us. Btw, do you need break-in procedure. Will send you one if needed. Nevertheless, congrats for owning a new toy.

whenever i turn my dvd on, ang lumalabas is 576p sya, tapos mag nag start n yung disc, it changes to 480p, sorry for my ignorance, meron pa sa setting ng pv70 na pwede ichange to 720p or anything aside from 480p/i?

Nasa output ng source mo na yan. The PV70 would always output to its native resolution of 1024x768. Yung nakikita mo na nakadisplay sa panel is the input resolution.

sa mga owner ng pv70 kumusta cable connection nyo? kasi sa akin intermittent ang connection may time na malinaw meron din naman na malabo and recently walang makuhang signal, pero when i tried my 32 na hitachi may signal naman. mahina lang kaya sa signal processing ang pv70 or may problem ang unit ko.

hope to hear agad para malaman ko kung itatawag ko na ng technician

Patawag ka na ng technician, especially if your unit is still under warranty. My cable viewing with the 42PV70 is great! Di na nga ako makasingit during the summer vacation dahil occupied ng kids ko watching cartoon network and disney channel

Were you able to fine tune the channels? Manually or automatically?

I have no problem kasi sa cable signal ko, malinaw... its just a matter of surfing through the TVs menu to fine tune it...

The electric bill just arrived,
and after the break-in period last month,
my electric bill now drops Php850 from my last bill,...

I use my plasma during evenings, watching DVD and cable,
maximum hours of use is 4 hours.... (everyday...)

I guess, the experts were correct in saying that the rated
consumption at the back panel is the rating if the TV is on TORCH mode...

i'm contemplating on getting this tv, but i'm really scared of possible burn in problems.

i know it is not as big of a problem as it was before, lalo na when i finish the break-in period.

pero gusto ko lng malaman kung meron ba ditong nakaexperience ng ganitong problem with this particular model?

if for example, i watched a single channel for 4 hours straight hours, will that immediately cause a burn -in of the networks static logo? if so, does it ever go away?

No problems whatsoever. Acquired the tv last December. If you are worried about static images like the logo appearing on the screen, after viewing for some time, just change the channels during commercials. if you plan to watch dvd's during the break in period, if you read back on this thread, just zoom in to get rid of the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. Most likely your dvd player will have a screen saver when it is on standby so you wont have to worry about image retention too

No burn in problems whatsoever...

Though I only use it mainly sa movies, and when my wife uses it for a couple of hours
watching her favorite soap. Don't worry about those static images, hindi naman ganun katagal naka-view ang mga images na ito to cause damage sa TV, for example, when watching news on a ceratin channel, with a logo in the corner, in a few minutes naman ay commercial na, kaya maya't maya ay napapalitan din ang image na ipinapalabas dito...

Great TV, for its size and price,... It does ROCKS!

i've seen a few image retention on my plasma but i was not alarmed anymore as i read too much forums that says it goes away after switching to other tv channels. during summer break my kids were playing PS2 everyday for 4 hours straight.

3 1/2 months na sakin yung unit ko, and kanina was the 3rd time na naexperience ko na bigla na lang nag OFF yung tv, hindi sya naka sleep, walang gumagalaw ng remote, hindi naman nagbrownout, wala naman atang fluctuation sa kuryente kasi sya lang ang naapektuhan, bukas ang ilaw, ang speakers kasi nanunuod ako ng concert ng Dream theater, 3rd time na. ano kaya to? :'(

I suggest contacting your dealer to let them diagnose the problem.
