The subtitles of the opening sequence of SISTER STELLA L.
You can quote text, marj, but that still does not change the fact that
there are no subtitles on the locally-released DVD of SISTER STELLA L., unless it's been released in two versions. I bought this title from Astrovision when it was released in the Philippines in July of 2006. Here's the menu screen showing that there are no language and/or subtitle choice options:
Pressing "Subtitle" on the remote control does nothing, and as can be seen from the screen capture below with Vilma talking, subtitles aren't burned into the actual film, either:

Your conviction that Sister Stella L. has subtitles (with quote included, at that) actually made me check another title you listed above:
AISHITE IMASU 1941 (2004) -- Joel C. Lamangan
My copy of this title that I purchased locally has NO SUBTITLES, either.
Where did you get this list you're posting from? It's mostly accurate, but as I said earlier, not completely. Perhaps you're reviewing US releases of these DVDs? Do American versions of these movies have subtitles, since I can guarantee you that these two DVDs with "For Philippine Viewing Only" printed on their art work do not.
