Still no word on the special features (if any) and which Pixar shorts will be included, i.e. whether it will be limited to Pixar shorts that were shown before main features only.  Hope they include ALL Pixar shorts, like Jack-Jack Attack, etc.

I do hope there are new special features in this disc, as it that might be the only reason I will buy this, since I have all of their animated shorts (except of course for "Lifted" which I assume will be included with the "Ratatouille" DVD).

Looking forward to this. Hope they also include other shorts that were not included in any previous DVD or theatrical release.

Street date for the DVD and the Blu-ray version is November 6.  Reports say it will include 13 shorts and a documentary on Pixar's shorts program.

Hmm.. I agree with the earlier post.  It might not be too enticing if you already have all the Pixar DVDs.  Although I wonder what the 13 shorts will be.  Didn't realize Pixar has produced that many (excluding the DVD-exclusive shorts like Jack-Jack Attack, Mike's New Car).

Disney has also announced a Pixar Short Films Collection DVD and Blu-ray Disc for release on 11/6 (SRP $29.99, Blu-ray SRP TBA). The disc will include 13 classic CG animated shorts from the company - The Adventures of Andre & Wally B, Luxo Jr., Red's Dream, Tin Toy, Knick Knack, Geri's Game, For the Birds, Mike's New Car, Boundin', Jack-Jack Attack, Mater and the Ghost Light, One Man Band and Lifted - along with a behind-the-scenes featurette, a tribute to Bud Luckey, audio commentary, animation tests and more.
