705 produces more watt to the speakers but is almost a hot as 605

I think popping issue is mostly with the 805. the most common complaint I am seeing in the forums is the delay in audio (or is it video?) when used in HDMI. Some people are having problems specially with games because sound and vision is not in sync. They say it's not as big a problem in movies, but I guess different people have different tolerance with these kinds of things. Btw still no news from nemesis...

Quality would be the same. Hongkong units actually would be even better because voltage is also 220v. Actually I'm planning to get one there if the local price here is too high. I'm going to hongkong early this december, I plan to buy it there then have it shipped back to the philippines.

I'm not sure. But as far as I know there wont be customs tax, I read somewhere in the online shopping thread that balik bayan boxes are not being taxed. Also based on my experience airport people don't bother so much as long as its for personal use only and not in commercial quantity. I could be wrong though, that is why I'd still prefer getting it locally if the difference is not too much. Less hassle and better after sales service.

Most of the dealers do accept credit cards, although not all allow zero interest. Probably in this particular model at the start wala din zero interest kasi new model

I think you can get the 705 at US SRP when it arrives here in a few weeks.

Simply pay cash to your suki dealer (*) & ask for a discount to match the US SRP.

*thats why its important to develop a good relationship w/ your A/V dealer, as HiFi magazines say.

Meron branch ang JAC sa Hongkong.  Kinda more expensive than JAC NY.  Because of insurance fee or something.. U can ask JAC bout their rate..

My suggestion go for 875 its a good buy after looking at the spec. It will last you for many years without upgrading. M also looking on how to bringing it in at the minimal.Baka meron tayong member dito na nagtratrabaho sa Naia or pal na pwede tayong tulungan. Hehe Libre na lan palisten

The problem with the HK unit, wala daw warranty dito.  So pag may problem, you have to take it all the way to HK to avail of the warranty.

I am planning to buy Onkyo TX-SR505 7.1CH, US price is $299. PHP price I dont know yet. Need your reviews/feedback for this model.
