guys any info yet about our spider-man 3 local version....are we going to have promos from astrovision like for SM2

PinoyDVD.biz has it in its upcoming list with a September 28 streetdate. Note however that PinoyDVD.biz release dates are not always accurate due to factors beyond their control (Distributor's late deliveries etc).

It does seem that at least three variants will be available 1-disc, 2-discs, and Trilogy.

Nabasa ko kanina na sabay pala sa release nito yung Blu-ray version at Trilogy Box Set. May free shirt ka pa pag nagpre-order ka ng copy.

Pre-order fee is P200. The 1-disc version will be priced at P695 while the 2-disc version will be priced at P895. The Blu-Ray version will be at P1800. The release date is supposed to be on September 24 but according to sources, it may be bumped off to a few more days.

No gift set it seems, maybe they will reserve that for the Transformers (which comes two weeks after, at least in R1). Keeping fingers crossed.

Transformers R3 is slated to come out in October along with The Bourne Ultimatum. No specific date yet, though.

There will be a Trilogy box set. No details were given yet as to whether the movies included will be the 2-disc versions or just the 1-disc version(just like last year).

Spider-Man 3 will be released locally on September 24, 2007. This title will be available in four versions:

Php 895: 2 Disc Special Edition

Php 595: Single Disc Edition

Php 1850: Spider-Man Trilogy (Promo girl doesn't know if this includes single or double disc editions of the movies)

Php 1850: Blu-ray

If you pre-order any of the versions listed above (Php 200 deposit), you get a free Spider-Man 3 (Venom) black t-shirt.

Guys what if magtrip tyo lets not patronage or lets boycott the 2disc Edition as in wala talagang magpareserve at bumili.....I bet u in 3 months tym ang presyo nyan 550 or 450

I doubt it will work on an eagerly awaited title like this. Chances are most collectors will snap up the 2-disc version leaving the one-disc to go on sale months after.

just for your reference sir. albeit the dvd details and cover art in the link below are for the R1 version, i presume. (based on experience, the specs of the R3 version usually mirrors that of the R1 release).

I bought both my Spidey 1 and 2 at sale prices, since this is the worst in the series, and I wouldn't lose sleep even if I don't get it.
