Finally settled with the Panasonic TH-L37X10S [
edit TH-L37X10K should be the correct model accdg to Panasonic MY site] after comparing it to the LX80 model.
Both are LCDs but the newer model appeared to have better color and black rendition.
Also came home with a Sabre rack with mount and a 1KVA AVR.
The unit was a no-brainer to tune, configure and set-up.
I actually bungled the rack install more with the top rack ending up in the middle (3 stack)
Just finished viewing Transformers upscaled to 1080i (
max of the Pioneer DV-696AV, I think)with normal picture setting.
The wifey and I were happy and content with the great video performance.
Audio is good for TV viewing. I use the Klipsch 2.0 PC speakers for movie watching for some oomph.
Cable performace can be better but I think this is an issue with our service provider.
