There seems to be a lot of interest in Anthony's coaxial speakers........and frankly, I dont blame ya ;D They really present a different flavor that always make you smile while listening to it ;) Kudos to those who appreciate its sonics :)

However, pls permit me to offer you a tip when choosing a size:

- get the biggest size coax that your floor space & room could accommodate. With coaxs', the bigger the driver diameter the better.......but if the room is small, I'd suggest getting the next smaller size. These speakers need room to breath to bring out their best, so be mindful of the area where you plan on locating them.

Also, for some reason the 6.5" coax has a low sensitivity of 86db. The 10" and 15" have 97db up sensitivity.

Enjoy your speakers!  ;)

Master, me too  ;D , please pm your friendly prices for 6.5/10/12/15 coax's, both bs and fs. Also, as hinted in previous posts, can you do the audio racks? Yung stackable na parang lovan or crescendus? How much din?

Thanks!

master i bought gutierrez's d2 clones. surprisingly at it's size it has less bass than the smaller (woofer & box) 1sc clones i bought from you. maybe it's not yet thoroughly broken-in, but still out of curiosity i checked the insides and found some loose rubber matting at the sides and back. did you intentionally lay it like that or could it just have loosened? i thought of attaching it firmly to the inside walls but realized it would be better to ask you first as it could have been part of your design. please advise. tia!

I'm very much satisfied with Anthony's proac 2.5 clones! After upgrading the tweets to  1" vifa paired with it's  6 1/2 scanspeak midwoofer, I couldn't ask for anything more. Heard the new B&W 6 series FS. Mas gusto ko tunog nung clone ko. Even with the recent coaxial "barang", , . . .these speakers are for keeps! Here are some pics. Thanks Anthony! ;)

*close up of the vifa tweets. I placed round felt mats around the tweeter for diffraction reduction*

*placed Tamy's wonderful spikes over a granite slab with dynamat extreme underneath*

Sir Wengkapre, the proac badge was laser etched using the original proac logo by my fave sticker shop at the ground floor of market market! If you want your logo in acrylic, kaya din nila!

Thats probably the bitumen - just attach it back to the sides using contact cement (rugby).

i don't think so sir. it appears too light and dry compared to bitumen which is black and sticky.

A diy master himself, Tony(trodt93) visited my house yesterday. He specializes in acoustic room treatment and he also designs loudspeakers. He saw Anthony's Proac 2.5 clones and had a listen(pre-treatment)! He was impressed by the cleanliness and imaging! Sabe niya, talented daw tong si Anthony! I know both of them are talented when it comes to building speakers! One of these days, daan ako sa house ninyo to hear your zigma horn speaker with a 4" Sony full range driver! More power to Cal and Tony! ;)
