HDD and Xtreamer used to stay on both ends of my center speaker(Proac clone). Wala naman naging problem sir. Almost 6 months din na ganito yung set-up ko before I sold my NMT.

ty ty very much. i'm not sure if i had an isolated case before when the contents of my ipod disappeared when i placed it on a non shielded sub. funny thing was, only the music got erased and not the ipod firmware or software or whatever you call it.

wala pa bang 1 foot (foot ba or feet? haha) yung pagitan ng setup niyo between speaker and hdd sir? making doubly sure lang po. thanks in advance!

MP3's are magnetically written on the HDD. Therefore, any strong magnet will wipe the info from the HDD. The OS of the Ipod is probably on the flash or rom portion of the ipod hence not affected.

I make it a point not to put my HDD's or nmt near strong magnets and on vibrating surfaces.

When the HDD is reading / writing, the platters are spinning really fast and any strong vibration may cause an error on the platter.

That's my belief.

you can look up how HDD's work to debunk or prove my statements above!

you guys won't be dissapointed with the ezra center. lupet sa lake!
and with it's MTTM config, I'm prettye sure, it'll deliver a wider soundstage as compared to your usual MTM centers.

i'm so excited to set this monster up for my friend's HT.
