"Technically" Its not the size of the woofers that matters, its the frequency response of both the sub and the woofer of the front speakers that needs to match. Basically yung lowest na frequency ng woofer mo needs to over lap with the highest frequency of the subwoofer. otherwise may butas yung frequency response ng system mo.

If your sub operates from 20 hz to 120 hz and your woofer operates from 50 hz pataas then ok. poblem if your subwooofer operates say from 20 hz to 80 hz and your front speakers is 120 hz ang lowest then butas yung response mo, walang mag operate from 81 hz to 119 hz..

As for the size of the woofers, I use 15 inch sub mated to a 7 inch na woofer of my fronts .. ok naman .. I tried connecting the sub to my tiny PC speakers , di pwede parang puro mids tapos puro low bass.

Thank you for letting me do an impromptu DEMO/AUDITION of the
GENESIS A+++++ AUDIO BS speakers this morning.

Its really one of the best value BS in the market today.

Whats more amazing is the simple yet elegant design plus very identical SQ with branded BS in the market that costs so much more (2x or 3x the Genesis' price).

Will truly recommend the AAUDIO to my friends who would venture to AUDIO gear.

Equally amazing is the T-AMP you have setup at home... Clean and excellent sounds.

I recently acquired the AAUDIO EZRA BS speakers of sir leomarley who was very kind enough to let me have his mint/like BNEW EZRA BS. I want to try the simple AAUDIO BS tweak made by Juancho using a short Guage12 electrical wire/cable to connect to the binding posts of the EZRA BS speakers.

Can i inquire where can i get these BELDEN CAT6 cables you have mentioned? Will try them to connect to the binding posts as illustrated by sir Juancho.

Am also interested in using the Belden CAT6 cables for the speaker wires as well. Would it be possible sir if you could share some photos of these Belden CAT6 used as speaker wires for reference?

Again, thank you to all AAUDIO resident posters and enthusiasts... Really a very good forum for AAUDIO owners/users at PDVD.

haven't really tried because I only used it for background music where it excels.

thank you for helping an aaudio newbie. Really learned a lot about those phelps dodge jumper cables with spade and Belden cat6 cable.

Bill ako nun tomorrow am and will try it along with the audio quest banana plugs that you mentioned. Will keep the speaker cables under 3 meters as instructed.

Let me know the info about the monster RCA cables. Excited ako dun sir...

All the info you gave is really very helpful indeed for a newbie audio owner like me.
Excited how the Ezra will sound like while listening to David Sanborn, fourplay, rippingtons, and all my jazz selections.

Will be busy tomorrow getting the items...

Will post pics once I've finished... Share the project to other aaudio resident posters and readers.

Maganda ba gamitin yung titus BS in a monitor-like manner? maganda ba siya for near-field usage kasi balak nya daw gamitin for PC audio. he uses a ta2020 based t-amp (20wpc max) and based sa specs ng titus BS mukhang sensitibo naman siya para sa t-amp. Sabi ko kasi mag Aaudio nalang siya kesa polk rtia3

yes bro maganda rin, pero mas busog ang Titus BS sa TA2024 based t-amp..subok ko na eh.

Since pinoydvd is a site where members share their audio experiences and projects.
I decided to share a little tweak that may improve the sound of your A-audio speakers
The tweak is very very simple and does not require you to open your speaker.

All you need to do is remove the original copper links from the speaker terminals.

Replace it with Gauge 12 THHN wires, it should cost not more than php30 per meter in your local hardware.

Following the advise of Juancho and Soundgarden, I was able to get some Phelps Dodge 12AWG THHN stranded wire from my local hardware.

I bought the following:
1 meter cabel only cost me Php33/meter. Madami pang natira

soldering lead = Php55 bucks
Copper Y-Spades = Php55 bucks / box of 10 pcs

I cut a 3inch PD 12AWG TTHN wire and terminated the ends with the copper Y-spades. Then I used the soldering lead on the Y-Spade para maganda termination.

I replaced the original copper links with this DIY jumpers and listened to my usual jazz selections...

IMO, the DIY jumpers really work!!! It made the SQ of my AAudio EZRA even more defined, finer and richer. BASS was even more solid while the mid / high levels are even more distinct. I thought I was listening to branded 15k or even 20k speakers

REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THIS TWEAK... LOVING MY EZRA AAUDIOs EVEN MORE!!!

Try nyo rin to use the same wires as your jumpers, if your using bare wire just strip a longer section to connect tweets and woofers.

I for one had silver wires as jumpers, if interested cableman 'cjtjader' can make them for you...
