Hmmm. . . Di ka na lang mag bi-wire using the same 12 awg cable? At P33/ per meter and using your spare spades, you have a more direct connection from amp to the speakers. . .

Following the advise of Juancho and Soundgarden, I was able to get some Phelps Dodge 12AWG THHN stranded wire from my local hardware.

I bought the following:
1 meter cabel only cost me Php33/meter.  Madami pang natira :)
soldering lead = Php55 bucks
Copper Y-Spades = Php55 bucks / box of 10 pcs

I cut a 3inch PD 12AWG TTHN wire and terminated the ends with the copper Y-spades.  Then I used the soldering lead on the Y-Spade para maganda termination.

I replaced the original copper links with this DIY jumpers and listened to my usual jazz selections...  :o :o :o

IMO, the DIY jumpers really work!!!  It made the SQ of my AAudio EZRA even more defined, finer and richer.  BASS was even more solid while the mid / high levels are even more distinct.  I thought I was listening to branded 15k or even 20k speakers  :o

REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THIS TWEAK... LOVING MY EZRA AAUDIOs EVEN MORE!!!

Thanks Sir Jorge (Soundgarden) and Sir Juancho for sharing these tips  ;)

And KUDOS to SIR ANTHONY... Galing ng AAUDIO BS sir... Ang BAGSIK!!!

Photos of my DIY BS speaker jumpers. Sharing with the AAudio thread readers.  ;D

Thank you for the info sir.

Kaso am not sure if my old school "circa 1980s" kenwood AVR can handle bi-wire amplification...
Stereo only sya na AVR... But it has speaker A & B... Not sure if pwede sabay A+B.

But will check Kung kaya...  pag pwede... Sige... will try it out.

Biwire you can use the same speaker out pero sa speaker side 4 yung papunta sa speaker instead of 2. Biwiring is not the same a wiring the speaker in parallel, which can fry your amp kung hindi niya kaya. Biwiring is just connecting the HF and LF directly from the amp vs using a jumper.

To me, mas maganda tunog ng biwire vs using jumpers. Mas lumalabas yung tunog, provided your speakers' crossover is wired to take full advantage of biwiring. The theory there is the crossover is relieved of the duty of splitting the signal into HF and LF drivers, since a single signal is being used to send both HF and LF to the speaker and being split by the crossover.  What suffers in a single wire config is HF, since most of the load is actually LF.  If we split the wires going into the LF and HF terminal the amp will see different loads form each terminal pair. Thus, kung baga, hindi nasasapawan ng LF energy yung HF kasi magkaibang hiway yung dinadaanan nila.

Pano kung sa HF ko pinasok yung galing sa amp then naka jumper lang papuntang LF? Will that be fine?

Actually, some manufacturers actually recommend plugging the cables on the HF sockets when using jumpers. In my case, my Castle Richmond speakers benefit from biwiring. And may audible difference pag sinaksak mo sa LF sockets. Bumibilog tunog, pero manipis treble. Kahit naka jumper na pareho lang as the speaker wire.

It all depends sa crossover ng speakers mo. May iba that benefit from biwiring, yung iba pareho lang tunog. Some manufacturers like Dynaudio and Harbeth deliberately design their crossovers to optimised for single wire operation.

The key is to try it out for yourself. By my experience with different speakers I've owned, all of them benefit from biwiring with different degrees. From Wharfedale, to Tannoy, to Castle, to Paradigm. Only my Dyns and Harbeths have no option for biwire, kasi nga na design sila na pang single cable run.

:). Also a good idea... Siege check natin...

Kasi right now, I'm very pleased and satisfied with my current ICs on my EZRA and my AVR.  Really very detailed and distinct SQ... Excellent bass, mids and highs...

Using Belden CAT6 wires with nakamichi banana plugs.  These were created by SoundGarden (Sir Jorge). Plus MonsterCable Mark2 RCA ICs for my DVD player.

Since affordable Naman yung PD 12AWG THHN cables.. Might try them out as well...

Sir Anthony (DIY Master)...

Ask ko lang... If I can have this kind of finish done on the David FS ni SoundGarden?  parang gusto ko ganitong "Carbon Fiber weave" finish sa David FS.

Usap tayo tomorrow about this kung pwede :)

Thank you and more power to AAUDIO!!!  ;D

To CNN, You can try both Bi-wiring and standard wiring. It all depends on how detailed you want when listening to music. Sometimes mapapansin mo all music you play sounds desame......and you will find out the reason behind. Both speaker wiring configuration you may like it or you may not like it. Basta ang importante saan ka masaya in a simple way of listening.

Thank you sir Jorge.

I agree with you that after listening over extended periods... the SQ would be "desame"  ;D

Also, one concern with BI-WIRING is the additional cables that  I would need to manage.  More Cables = More Things to Manage (clutter).  I really dont like cable clutter at the back of my AVR.  Kaya I guess i'll just stick to a simple cable setup :)

Right now I'm very satisfied with your Belden CAT6 ICs...
Very 'malambing' and sweet sounding JAZZ selections coming from my AAudio EZRA...

Am very excited to do a side by side comparison with the David FS tomrrow evening :)
