that's really nice. i've been revisiting the aaudio 8" fr over the past few days.. one thing that gets me is i keep on thinking about the system and how good it sounds over just listening to the music.. is it really that good ?

ooh. tube sound is amazing. i heard it first at anthony's store when i visited with a friend to check out the 15" sub i sold him. anyways, sub was ok and i was amazed with the tube sound. when i went to audio amplified i heard tubes again and i said, this would be the perfect match for my aaudio full range and i've never looked at solid state again.

Sayo pala yung nakita ko dun na dual 12, ang laki nito sir congrats! hindi mo na kelangan bumili ng paputok nyan sa new year!   I have the baby brother of this one the dual 10.

I also have the dual 12 sub and this holiday season was a perfect time to explore its capabilities.(Umuwi mga neighbor)

So I cranked the knob to the 10 o'clock position, set the avr volume correspondingly and played the movies.
The verdict? Wow! It can really go loud and deep for movies. Not once did it sound hesitant in delivering the rumbles, explosions and what not of the movies I watched.

At less than 20k, I can only shake my head in wonder at the value I have gotten for my money.
Taken in perspective, the change I have experienced moving up from a smaller sub(also an A-Audio clone of the well known V-brand) was comparable to the change I experienced when I replaced my htib for a complete set of A-Audio speakers. That's how drastic(and wonderfully stunning) the change was.

To those who are looking for a sub which has the capability to make movies sound the way they should be experienced,but without necessarily running to the bank for additional funds, you owe it to yourself to audition this sub.

bwahaha oo nga ser e. ramdam nga sa kabilang bahay yun bass, sabi ng katulong namin, nakakatakot siguro yun pinapanood ko. )

I also auditioned the sealed/ported dual 10s and for HT purposes, the dual 12s won hands down. Although it is a bit overpowering for music, i'm thinking i should be able to create a preset on my AVR to tone down the bass for music purposes. konting kalikot pa.

I'm still in the process of finding the right position of the sub in my small room. Ok na sya sana sa likod kaya lang nagrarattle yun kikoy kit, printer at dry box ko. )
