hi everyone. i currently have Polk RTi A3. I find it a tad bright. If I switch to David, will it be a significant upgrade in terms of sound quality? I'm particular with voice quality. When I was able to audition Polk's LSI series with Focal Demo Disc 3's Isn't She Lovely, i loved how the "whistle" at the start sounded so real. Problem though is that LSi's are expensive and they're at 4 ohms. Want to upgrade but don't wanna spend a lot. Please tell me your thoughts.

sir in my opinion, David is good. But for me, if pure audio, its HB series, just like your call sign.

You've got to audition the HB series from HB 8 , 10 and 12. And also include the David. Then, if you could bring your speakers, shoot out with the a-audio speaker that you like.

the 8' full range is a winner in my book.. it needs good ancilliary equipment though to make it perform at it's best.

Try the 8" Full range power alnico from aaudio with Jojod BabyG. Audition..........

it's not really a pure/full audio setup, as the music i listen to are concerts. so it's an HT setup, but it's 70% music (concerts) and 20% movies and 10% gaming (PS3 and Xbox 360). my plan is to get 3 Davids as LCR, but now curious with 8" Full range as well.

ok. Better audition the FR array. Combine wid FR center. Or genesis series and charisma series.

Since concerts ka, get 2 really nice main speakers and you may find out you may not need a center speaker. While I don't have AAUDIOs as my speakers, my general experience is that 2.0 or 2.1 system gives me more than enough satisfaction. Kung naka AVR ka, try using a dedicated stereo amp, mas maganda tunog niya vs an AVR.

+1 on this. The FR array excels both in HT and music. You can even tell in the description by master A in the price list, it says "QUALITY AUDIO and HT" just my 2 cents.

I got the FR Array from Sir Anthony before new year's eve and been using it as a karaoke/ht/music speaker and all I can say is WoW watched Adele live concert on it and its wonderful even on a 2.0 setup.

as sir GB said better get it now before it's too late(forgot kung kelan yung deadline heheheheh)

It's not an Alnico FR. It has the power of it but almost close. It has a big ferrite magnet at the back for the New 8" aaudio FR . I think it was use in his HB monitor.

sir, MJ here. I was the one who called you yesterday for an audition this Sunday at around 9 to 10 A.M. in your shop at Sucat. Im eyeing the full range 8" and the dual sub 10" that were reserved to me per phone conversation. Im very eager to have my hands on your speakers sir.

Guys, i will be using a NAD 316 BEE for a pure music setup with this speaker and sub. Is this setup warm, bright, neutral or too dull? i like the warm/laid back style of music (newbie here in HT setup sir, gusto ko sana yung warm sounding eh, more on midrange yun di ba?) Ano ba yung full range, warm or bright or neutral?

Second, i initially plan to hook up the system to a mediocre creative media player. Ok lang ba yun or kailangan ko pa ng DAC before ko ikabit sa system ang media player ko? thanks.

hi sir, based from what I heard from sir anthony last saturday, A-Audio is ready to compete with the big brands on speaker industry. some changes will be made, may ibang speaker models na mawawala (like charisma 5), may maiimprove, and may madadagdag.

expect better quality on the speakers.
better speaker boxes

, tweeters etc.

may slight increase sa price ng speakers, pero as per sir anthony compared sa big brands mas mababa pa rin ang presyo ng A-Audio.

Actually marami ang mawawala. No more speaker repair and modification. No more personalized speaker enclosure. No more clone but expect the best and original design of Anthony soon.
