Hehehe.

Inabot ko pa yung good earth before it was closed down, hindi ka pa pala oldie sir. Ganyan talaga pag mabait, madami blessings ;)

I am 47 years old and I reckon that I am much older than most of the music lovers here..

The time I am talking about are pre Martial Law days when Avenida was in the height of its greatness.

Ganda talaga ang HO train set up nila. Hangga ngayon pangarap ko pa din.

Yes sir. I remember toys very well when my father used to take us there. Btw, I believe here at pdvd, we all play our ages at heart so in that sense - "we are all still young"    :)

Pwede pasyal dito. It will always be my pleasure. Pero magluluma lang ako ha. Baka pagtawanan nyo!

we have a common interest.. magluluma din po ako..(kung minsan  mambubulok pa nga)..  ;D ;D 8) 8)

Ang tawag sa Good Earth ay G-E. Big thing nang nagbukas sya. Before that, Escolta lang. Berg's. Soriente Santos. Gregg's.

Pagkatapos ay New Frontier at Farmer's Market. Ang maganda dun ay ang "Fun Center." Panay pinball machine.

Iba na ngayon. Dati, mababaw lang kasiyahan ng tao.  ;D

Mali yata .. Ang Good Earth kasi ay nasa Avenida, not Escolta. Pero naalala ko nga Camara shoes. Sikat nga yun! Swerte mo, dami mo na siguro sapatos ngayon.  ;D

After my 32 inch ancient Sony XBR conked I was forced to replace it with something new.

I bit the bullet and got a 58 inch Panasonic Viera!!!

While at it, I also brought out some of my other softdrinks collection.

I also mounted a rack on the side to accommodate my 1:18 Muscle Car collection(most of the cars are still in the box).

Hi!

Thanks to everybody, buti na lang di nyo pinagtawanan.

My favorite eating place in the late 70's and the early 80's(while I was still in UST for college) is Panciteria ni Ramon Lee. I used to walk from UST to Avenida(forgot the name of the side street) just to savor Ramon Lee's "lunch meal". In the vicinity was a Toy store that sells advance model kits for cars. Ramon Lee is still operating, cause i was there a couple of months ago.

Bulak_henyo, taga-saan ka sa Bulacan. Welcome ka dito anytime. Pero don't expect much, beginner lang kasi ako.

Will try to post some more pics when some of my 1:18 cars arrive and I have fully set-up my 1:18 garage.

Thanks again guys.

I will have atleast 30 1:18 Muscle Cars coming in form the US. I bought it at ebay.

Thanks to all, actually yung 58" Panny is also from Ebay, it cost me about P75K, landed and delivered to my front door. Mura no!!!. Nabenta ko na yung 50" at 42". All have "card readers"!!!!.

From this

To this

I just got to view my first movie and its a wow. With the 58" diagonal size of the plasma, the projector has only a 10% advantage in size. But the resolution of the plasma sure blows the projector. I guess the projector will only be used for special occasions. It sure is worth the wait!!!

The 58 inch Panasonic 58".

And with the projector screen down. At 4:3 proportion, the screen is 100 inches.

The comparison of screen size.
