My PSB X2T really matches great with my NAD integrated amplifier.
good morning.what nad amp are you matching it with? pa share naman ng listening impression. tia.
I'm using NAD 326BEE. Comparing it with my B&W 685 S2 bookshelf, the mids are better. Also I'm kind of longing for some bass which the bookshelf can't give. I can now do away with my subs but of course it's much better with the subs
Sir.. try to pair your Setup with Rel Sub T or R
kaya ba ng nad326 yung psbx2t? hindi bitin 50 wpc, i read kasi na medyo demanding yung x2t?
hey guys alam nyo ba SRP ng imagine x tower?
Kaya naman sir. I think among 50-watters, the 326 provides good value for money. In comparison to the rega brio-r's 50 wpc, ang hina nung rega. Almost like you are using a flea SET amp because it sounds anemic. The 326 is brash and provides good bass weight which makes it sound more powerful. To compare the 326 against the 356, almost inaudible ang difference using the X2T. That additional power I think can be appreciated when you use the Imagine B/T up.
Uyy brader mukang may planong mag palit ah.. he he he sabihan mo ako pag sawa ka na sa One B mo he he he
03-25-15: AudiotroyWe just got our demo pair of T3 in to the shop and I have to agree with the other posters, for the money they are amazing speakers,We compared the T3 to the Syn One we just took a pair back in trade and the difference is huge. The Mc eq will make a small difference in making an older bad 80's recording any difference, as the recording technology and mastering for many recordings had too much compression
3-31-15: AudiotroyUpdate on our demo pair which are really starting to sing. The shops owner has been breaking the speakers in every day since they first came in and boy have they gotten even better. We are both blown away the T3 is a completely different animal from any past PSB. These are world class speakers which have more in common with $10k and above priced speakers. The clarity in the treble is world class so is the bass. Macro dynamics are also exceptional. We are just amazed at how good these new speakers really are, and we have a great $10k system set up with the new $2,500 Parasound Halo integrated amp/dac.
Borrowed a Sansui AU-D707F Extra and paired it with a PSB imagine XB. I was surprised na bagay siya. I tried it with a Marantz 2245 but the Sansui surprisingly beat the Marantz in terms of pairing with PSB. Maybe a big factor is because Sansui is 95W compared to Marantz's 45W rating. So far I like what i'm hearing with this pairing.
What I like about PSB is their lively warm character and it has a lot of dynamics. I only have heard a KT88 tube amp(Cayin with stock tubes) paired with an Image & Synchrony. It loses a lot of that liveliness and dynamics that I like paired with that amp. I am used to PSB being forward sounding, with a tube amp, it tries to lay back a bit changing how the image should be projected. I am only guessing that with an EL34 amp, which usually has less current, it might change it even more. But I do agree, it is a subjective taste. It's still PSB + SS amp for me. Not just any SS Amp, Rotel is a bad pairing in my opinion. I like warm and fat sounding SS amps paired with it like NAD, Musical Fidelity and Marantz.
No sir, it should be Polk RTI A6 as center for the RTIA9 so they have timbre matching, same sound signature and same level of brightness.Image C5 is not on the bright side, so not matched for me.
My PSB X2T and my NAD 275/165 combo is a match made in heaven!
