Hi Guys,

just got my new LG 32LH20 last Sunday.. I'm browsing the internet when i stumbled this site: http://lgusb.wikispaces.com/IR+Hack

Basically this hack can enable the USB input to play media files (music, photos and movies).    

Here's the default menu



1.download and install QTIrreco into my N900 phone. (http://maemo.org/packages/view/qtirreco/) this is used to access the LG SERVICE menu. You can also use other phone (S60v3 smartphone) or Universal Remote. please check http://lgusb.wikispaces.com/IR+Hack for more info.

2. Access Service menu on my N900.

3. Enter password : 0000


4. Select Tool Option 2


5. Set USB and Bluetooth to 1


6. Exit menu.

7. Connect my 1TB hd at the rear USB port.

8. Enter Menu


9. Select Movie List


10. Select Drive 1


11. Choose a movie



12. WATCH movie and Enjoy..

Nice san po kayo nakakuha ng unit sir? Will this void the warranty?

nabili ko sya dito sa Marquee mall angeles city.. I'm not sure about sa warranty, pero pwede naman ibalik sa dating settings.

hindi pala pwede MKV files.. AVI files lang yata for movie.

use a usb extension cable

This thread helps me a lot. Now I can watch movies, play mp3 using USB.

I followed the instruction except for one thing.

To enable the service menu, I pressed both the menu on the remote and on the PC for 5 seconds.
