RE: Enemy at the Gates R3

Any feedback on this title? The casing looks p*rated and I'm having second thoughts on purchasing it. How's the quality of the picture and the sound? Is it widescreen and DVD 9?

DVD 9 formats are not original. it's pirated copies using hitech copier machine that will look like originals and disk labels are printed. Beware of these copies...  ::)  ::)

Hello, sorry can you elaborate more on this. The 7 gig doesnt make it a original copy? Dvd 9 is dual layer right? Pirated copies or single layers/dvd5  are usually the 4 gig one right? Sorry kind of new in this..Thanks

Are these formats (DVD-9) authenticated by OMB? and legally distributed? In my location this considered p***ted.

Sir, I bought it at Astro V-Mall. I don't think they sell p*rated DVDs (Altough pangit ng print ng case, looks p*rated  :P).

I only posted the 7.xx gb to show that it is indeed DVD9 (dual layer), and not only DVD5 (single layer).

I learned that DVD-9 format got licenced to reproduce some titles but could easily reproduce that look like the authentic ones, that's the reason why it's not permitted to be sold in my location. It's also available here but in underground market. actually, I have some of them in very nice audio & video format but as you noted the label quality are not really  tastefully done to match the original.  ::)

Just to clarify the issue raised in this thread - audiojunkie is based in the Middle East so he's probably not referring to any particular location in Metro Manila.

Regarding Enemy at the Gates, similar to most local releases today, only the discs are imported from abroad. The label printing and cases are sourced locally so quality varies from distributor to distributor. This helps to bring down the cost.

Recently, some foreign studios have allowed Magna and Viva to replicate DVD9s here after the 2 largest local manufacturers were stringently evaluated & duly certified. On the other hand, Warner still imports 100% of its discs.

OT

they have a lot of these in hotels and casino's at "no mans's land" between the border of piopet, cambodia and wang prapa, thailand.

the picture on the disc are finely printed like originals, even the cover art on the inserts on the dvd case but the region on the disc indicates "all" instead of r3. the back of the disc are gold in colour, even the movie title are indicated at the center of the disc (backside) and are being sold at almost original competetive price like 300 bhatt.

great PQ and AQ minsan DTS pa.

nakakaloko akala mo orig.
