thanks people, somehow it adds to the feeling that it's appreciated.

@threadlock, there are 4 acoustical treatments (panels) on the ceiling, scattered almost on the 4 corners of the theater room.  There's a certain calculation that was done in order to determine where these panels are to be placed.  I think di lang nakita sa pics but meron sya...

Congrats! Very nice set-up!  :)

Any plans for a front projector and big screen? For the size of the room and the types of speakers and amps, parang ang liit tingnan ang 65" TV.

Para bagay, dapat siguro 120" screen minimum and Sony VPL-VW200 front projector.  :)

On another point, curious lang ako -- how do you access the rear of the amps? Parang may small corridor yata sa likod ng shelves?

the 65 is a fit on this room. We tried to consider using a projector but with the height of the room, hindi pwede.  Besides, with a minimum viewing distance of 7 feet malaki na din and acceptable without straining the eyes.  The room is 1.5 feet below the standard height.  Bukod sa di kaya ng projector to project a bigger screen, tatama na sa ulo ng viewer and parati na lang matatakpan ang light when one stands up to either exit or just pee sa CR hehehe..

65 is currently one of the largest screens avail sa plasma, manipis and doesnt take that much space compared to an RPTV.  Yes you are right that there is a utility area at the back of the equipment rack.  The entrance to that is from the bar.  I'll try to post pics of what's behind that rack.

Thanks

Tama nga siguro. I assume the 7 feet minimum viewing distance is from the nearest point of the L-shaped sofa and that the main viewing position is mga 12 feet. Malapit nga. Meron ngang optical illusion kasi the viewing distance seems farther than that. Tapos my guess is that ceiling height is 8 feet.

Then I realize that nasa likod nga ang CR kaya kung nasa likod din ang projector, mabubungo sya on the way to the CR. Pero nakakahinayang pa rin.

Siguro kasya yung Panasonic 103" plasma TV dito.  :)

This is by far the most expensive setup here in PDVD HT Gallery  :o Very elegantly designed, choice of gears are A1. Cant help but drool  ;D

800 Series & Classe Amp Grabe! 802D pa lang cost na ng entire setup ng marami dito.

Masaya na ako sa 805S ko  ;D
