I like your turntable mykel, I am seriously considering bringing my vinyl collection out of hibernation. I started buying in the early 60's before the age of cassette tapes & cd's so I would guess I have a lot of rare material. I've been looking at turntables & disc cleaners but can't seem to make up my mind.

With your story, I believe you definitely have some rare items in your collection and it would be nice if they would be given some playing time again and it is also a chance for you to bring back the memories of your early years..

Btw, are you more into audio or HT?

Very perceptive of you mykel, yes it would bring back memory's but some of them I wish to forget.
My main love is audio. I only have one good eye so video is difficult for me to compare but I have 2 good ears. The main thrust of the HT will be great audio, as you can see from my gears list the Audio is the better of the 2.
As far as the vinyl is concerned I have some mono albums from the days before stereo really arrived also a large collection of 12" singles that you cannot get on CD. Maybe this is the time to brush off the dust & enjoy
