yes, i know we can buy the hdmi ver1.3 cable, but i wonder the three model i stated, are they all support hdmi ver1.3 deep colour out?i only saw hdmi ver1.3 deep colour on the panasonic S54 hdmi dvdplayer specification, no hdmi version stated on the Sony and LG brand.... :(

yes, i have think of Pioneer DV410 too, but saw some bad reviews about it on PQ like too dark and grainyand sensitive on reading disc. is that true?and also its a bit expansive than other.  :(

if the reviews was not true, the PQ is the best compare to other brand and not sensitive on reading DVD, i will go for it!!cause PQ id my main concern! ;D

can share some pic of 32pc5ra/v + Pioneer DV410 combo? ;)

shifting from HDMI to TV using PIP?

Sorry for the late reply. I typically use...

70 contrast, 50 on everything else.
Cool color temperature, XD parameters all set to off, medium gamma level and low black level.

IMO, this is the most natural picture quality. Standard setting boosts the contrast too much.

PIP, can't comment since I don't use it.

Still the same as when we got it the first day also. 50-incher na ang kunin mo, di gano malaki yung jump from 32" to 42". ;D

Buhay na buhay pa rin ang PQ :)

Kaso mukhang maaga magpapaalam ang LG Plasma ko.  Halos 14hrs a day kung gamitin sa bahay.

Destiny kami eh, pero lahat ng channel lumalabas as Mono. Pag Stereo, ano dapat lalabas? "Stereo" or "L+R"?

LG Plasma + HTPC users, question lang po.

What is your output resolution when you connect your HTPC to your Plasma via HDMI?

Coz mine, I only getting 1024 x 768 which 4:3 ratio and I believed this Plasma can accomodate 720p or 1080i.

I'm just using the built-video  Intel GMA 4500.

Is this has something to do with my source video?

Thanks,
Ivan

hi blued,

No! it will depend on the channel your are watching.
i.e. ABS-CBN is only transmitting mono audio signal while TV5 has stereo signal.

Haven't tried but honestly the best to use would be 852 x 480 resolution since it is the panel's native resolution. I don't know the effects of using resolutions higher than that.

When connected to HTPC, 2 lang option for resolution: 1024x726 and 800x600 which are both 4:3.
so and nangyari ung resolution na 1024x726 has been streched out to 16:9 aspect ratio of our plasma.
<correct me if I'm wrong>
Ano po ba ung settings ng HTPC nio when watching movies thru HTPC?

Thanks,
Ivan

I don't have a HTPC. Alam ko pag HDMI ka connected, lalabas yung native resolution niya (I read that somewhere). Ang natry ko lang is VGA and hindi nga buo yung labas, I had to manually stretch the picture via VLC player para magshow yung tamang aspect ratio.

Sir... not really sure how to answer this... kasi ako... i use the 32 LG Plasma via HDMI connects for both my PIONEER DV400 player & mg HTPC  (connected via HDMI)..

Yung SKYCABLE ... aaah... yes... its showing L+R nga din on mine....
